@Jeeses99 The old Foreman won many fights by KO / TKO unlike the young Foreman but still his KO record is impressive by whatever standard. Except for the Rumble in the Jungle fight against Ali, Foreman had never been humiliated. Yes in his "old" days Holyfield, Morrison, Briggs beat him but all those fights were not humiliating / punishment against George.

One of the greatest ever, gave Holyfield a war 13 years past his prime, imagine what a prime foreman could of done to the heavyweights of the 90s, the only man who could truly beat a prime Foreman was Ali and that was due to Foreman’s naivety, Foreman could have been the best ever

You know they say your in your prime when your at your peak mentally and physically. With this I feel George may have been in his prime the night he shocked the world against moorer. I love foreman too. But i believe that old big george was better than his younger version.. same "speed", Better mentaly and tactically, better chin protection, defence and probably even more power due to more mass. But i dont think this is good cooperation.. Wilder is totally different type of puncher.. We dont need huge overweighted strong slower Wilder. I truly believe his power is his speed and athleticism. Wilder needs get back to his natural fit weight arround 215-220lbs but work on his defence.. I believe he needs mayweather to help him with footwork and defence..

George really pulled a Ali on Moorer. Ali let himself get bullied, get pushe to the ropes, let himself take the punishement so he could slowly but surely take away georges weapons, tangle him up and tire him out. George tricked Moorer into thinking he was old, slow, no longer has power so he could stand right infront of him. Wild. Still learning from ali 20 years later .

31:35 taking 2 straight hooks to the jaw by a prime Holyfield and not even staggering. Legend Foreman.
@waymanjohnson4100
@waymanjohnson4100 2 жыл бұрын
Holyfield is a tremendous athelete, and a perfectly polished boxer that hit very hard. Several times Holyfield hit "Big George" with combo's of so many punches in a row in rapid succession its hard to count how many it was. Foreman seemingly unaffected, makes me wonder what that voice inside Holyfield's mind was saying, because Holyfield has quite a since of humor. Both Great Boxers and Men worthy of being the HeavyWeight Champion of the World. Holyfield and Foreman both very devout Christian's, and good kind men. They inspire me to be a better man and more likeable person, yet with two years of boxing as a teen under my kind appearance and peaceful outer layer live's a man that can lite 'em up quick fast and in grand style. Ive loved boxing every since I can remember. These two men are two of Boxings Best Ever. Best Ever by the was Joe Louis. Nobody will ever defend the heavyweight tile more that the 25 times the Brown Bomber did. Louis would have more than that had the second world war not prevented him from having more fights. Wish Louis"s life after retirement had not been so tragic, hate and greed had its way with Joe Louis mostly by the Government, and after he did so much for the government. Louis Schmelling 2 is the most important sporting event of the Century. Joe beat the Nazzi's, no telling what the world would be like had Louis lost that fight. Confidence brings success and success brings confidence. Had louis lost it would had given quite a boost to the so called "master race". Thank God Louis took the wind from thier sail.

You see the punch coming, it's slow and when it lands it shakes your whole body. When George hit opponents to me it looked like he was chopping a tree down, TIMBER. Down they go, one after the other. In combination of bone crushing power, Foreman evolved as a man from being very angry to being very humble, honorable and very very likeable. He belongs in the top 6 heavyweight champions of all time. George Foreman was a better man than he was a heavyweight champion.

@@briannajohnson4459 Both Ali and Foreman are top five. Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano probably top 3

I wouldn't say he's the best heavyweight of all time but he's definitely up there.

He wasn't the best of all time. The best of all time was the guy who was first to beat him in his prime. He definitely was the most feared and the hardest puncher ever though.

I agree 100 that george was a beast back in his first days as a boxer. I love watching all his fights but when he first began boxing he was something to watch thats for sure.

It was Ali’s defeat of Foreman that solidified his greatness to me. I remember thinking there was no way he was going to beat Big George. Like many others, I was wrong.
