My favourite drummer of all time. No cheesy face pulling.. just the expressions of a mortal man struggling to summon the ancient Gods, and then succeeding. Incredible!

One of the top reasons why he's your favorite is because he doesn't make weird ass faces while playing! 🤣 I fkn love this guy! I will admit that is an annoying trait.

It's kinda, but just a little bit (get it straight), about speed too. Listening to it is basically the equivalent of watching an olympic 100m sprint; "Holy shit, that's fast!" Plus, drumming is just one aspect of the genre (extreme metal, in case you forgot). You got plenty of other reasons as to why people are drawn to this music, but I'd rather not waste my time writing an essay about it i a comment section. Have a good day.

Talk about loving what you do, this guy is in heaven. The muscle memory for double bass is just mesmerizing.

Modern Nile is sadly pretty boring to me. Technically proficient, for sure, hands down, no question. But.. I don't know. The music just doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't seem to build to anything, or have a clear dynamic thrust. Feels cut-and-paste to me. "Here's a blasty riff, here's a chuggy riff, here's a tremolo skank riff, etc". Early Nile wasn't like this.
