I love that with all the guitars George has played over the years, they're memorable and meaningful to him. He does a great job of illustrating that having all these guitars isn't an ego thing, but each has something unique to offer in how they play and how they sound. Love you, George!

My peers all worshiped Randy...............for me it was always Mr. Scary. Even endured D.D. vocals and chicky songs..................just to hear this mans genius ! Met him, by accident after a show at pine knob, when his tour bus turned into a gas station and couldn't make the turn, I ran out and guided the driver into the lot. During this time all our girls, who were in love with Mr. Lynch, were going back to the hotel, thinking they would go back there after the show. The doors opened and the first one off the bus.................to our surprise, was George. We had no idea it was dokken's bus, He thanked me for the assistance, was glad we enjoyed the show, gave me a pick out of his pocket and autographed my jeans on the right thigh. To this day the girls think we made this up, to piss them off ! I still have them in a frame in my studio and they are one of my cherished relics.

Well of course they do! More resonance between the bridge and body! That's why Floyd's, while they are fun and have their purpose in Rock Guitar actually decrease sustain, because you're literally transmitting the entire resonance from the bridge/strings through 2 bolts into the guitar body.

He gets whatever he wants from 'em, so he endorses them! Was in my Junior year of High School when he laid his Kramer Barettas and that one orange Charvel down (no, not the Charvel Tiger, but rather the one with the pointy reverse headstock used in Dokken's "Just Got Lucky"-video), and started using the Kamikaze 1 & 2. And then the J. FROG "Skull & Bones" guitar came along. 1986-1988, and I knew "Tooth & Nail" practically by heart on my Peavey Impact 1, through my Dad's Pedal Steel amp, a Peavey Session 500. It had a 'Saturation' effect, usable in either channel, for doing 'Hot Rod' engine sounds on a pedal steel, or anywhere steel pickers used a 'slightly' overdriven tone, like Marty Robbins' "Don't Worry 'Bout Me." But when I'd crank that satruration knob WAY over, I got a 'BOSS DS-1 Distortion'-level tone, and that was enough to do Dokken's "Tooth and Nail" stuff, as well as RATT's "Out Of The Cellar"-tones.
