At the time everyone in the UK stopped buying them but I never believed a word of all the cobblers Johnson was spouting. What ceasefire? The Chinese govt proposed a ceasefire that didn't take place. The US came up with their own ceasefire proposal later but the Netanyahu govt isn't interested in a ceasefire. They keep adding more conditions to the proposal making it impossible to take place. What we're seeing is an escalation. So far 1 of the main players the US is hesitant to join in the fighting. There is an upcoming election in November so the US govt is exercising restraint. Israel is escalating the war so the neighboring countries would counter attack. If other countries would point their guns at Israel, the US would eventually be pulled into a conflict to defend Israel. The US would do anything to keep their watchtower in the Middle-East..
