i think gsp's problem is that he hesitates too much. watching him fight recently i can see he's improved so much in striking. the moment he loses his hesitation is the moment a monster is born!

@GJJman40000 True enough, we don't know until the fight takes place and I'm with you on Diaz, the kid's got a ton of heart and he will never give up compared to Shields who lost the fight before getting in the octagon. I just think that cardio wise GSP and Diaz are both monsters, the pace will not fade. Have a good week!

of course he does he's sponsored by them, and most of it is free anyway, AND i swear under armour makes your athletic output greater. it hasn't been proven yet but i know so and so does GSP

@LowLeveledPower true, and gsp failed to armbar hardy properly. he didn't even bother standing with hardy so i don't think he'll stand with diaz either. funny thing is gsp started out as a kyukoshin black belt karate specialist so his origins are in the striking game...

This is a cool video. GSP is great. If there is one thing I think most MMA fighters are weak in, it is boxing skills. Most have a very good ground game. And many are pretty good with their kicks. But I don't think they work on their boxing skills enough. But there certainly are a handful of MMA fighters who work very hard on their boxing. GSP is one of them. And I have noticed that a few MMA fighters even came from the boxing world and they have boxing backgrounds. So, there are boxers in MMA.

@Tullijatt604 yeah i agree, i'm doing BJJ at Tristar right now (thats where GSP mainly trains) and I know a few ways to stay in control at all times and know if my opponent is making a move. I just dunno why everyones trashing GSP in the vid, his training gear is clearly soaked with sweat and hes exhausted...do ppl expect him to be sparring at 100%??
@ryanwars1789 Жыл бұрын
as great as gsp is its astonishing to see when he hits the heavy bag how it doesnt even budge, even when he kicks it. then u see Tyson punch it and it sways like a 10 lb bag. id hate to get punched by Tyson but id also love it if there was an afterlife. lol

@eGomau5 GSP will mix it up. when Diaz fought the supremly average cyborg he got leg kicked like fuck and that range that kicks have means his boxing isn't that effective. GSP will leg kick him and jab with the occasional takedown if Diaz presses too much or at the end of rounds.
