In this fascinating interview with Bioenergetic Health researcher Georgi Dinkov we discuss whether serotonin is really as good for our mental health as we've been told. Georgi explains how serotonin could be driving schizophrenia, psychosis, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. He tells us natural methods we can experiment with to lower our serotonin exposure, as well as how this will simultaneously raise our dopamine. Most interestingly for me, he also explains some of the connections between this bioenergetic health perspective and traditional Chinese medicine, drawing on his past experience with the Eagle Style Kung Fu internal martial art.
