A very nice overview of this multitool, thanks!😊 I purchased mine recently at HD for $40.00...I wanted a 2nd multitool (1st, REV) to EDC in pocket on light days with a dedicated folder...this is a light- to- medium use multitool, excellent when you are out & about...the scissors are quite good...I have used them for everything, unexpectedly for pesky threads on polos & jeans...finally, a decent tool at a decent price point...😊

Fits n pocket for edc just fine not much different than the skeletool I carried. I like it. It does come stiff. Good clip. The one thing I would have liked is the fly head on the outside as well like the Phillips. Great video!

@@EventheWavesYT my pleasure! Quick question: which one would you recommend between the Gerber Suspension NXT and the Leatherman Wingman for light duty work at home? The Wingman is much more expensive here is France and the inside tools don't lock but it seems to be easier to pocket carry and people seem to say the finish is overall better. Any idea? Thanks!!

My personal opinion after having used both of them, I would spend a little more money for the wingman. The NXT is great for the price but if you are going to carry this at work and use it everyday the locking mechanism is going to get frustrating. The wingman’s tools do lock. 🤙🏼 hope that helps

Yeah for sure, I had to back off the bolt and throw some lube on it! … there are better multi- tools they are just more expensive!

@@EventheWavesYT no problem man. The Swiss+Tech is essentially a Wave+ clone, but the same quality for a fraction of the price. The Roxon's main selling point for me was it has excellent shears/full size scissors.

Gerber is the Hi-Point of multitools. I got one of these to throw in an emergency bag, I threw it in the trash instead. The pivot is really squishy and the whole tool bends out of skew when you grip it to use any of the outside tools. The spring loaded pliers are literally the worst thing ever, there’s a reason real, high end pliers are not spring-loaded. Every time you go to adjust your grip on something the handle flops open, out of your hand, and the poor lockup in the pivot means this thing has zero torque ability; you can grab a thing and pull on it, maybe turn it (like a nut) but if you bend or twist on the Y axis you’re going to break a handle off, or bend it over at the least. The awl is just a dull knife blade, the file is just flat knurling and its powder coated, it’s not going to file anything. The half-serration on the blade is a joke and it makes the blade really unsafe, a plain blade would far more useful. The locking pins are stiff and painful to unlock and the pocket clip is basically cut from a tin can, get it snagged once and it’s toast. Evan at $30, this thing is a total dumpster fire. 0 stars. Go to Walmart and spend $20 on a Mossy Oak and it will hold up better to real-world use. The only people who like this tool are the ones with affiliate links. Spend the money and get a Leatherman.
