Lol "if it's under $80 chances are it's Chinese". Definitely not true, you guys will learn after experience, you will be able to tell a cheap stein just looking at it eventually.

I just brought 4 of these. The bigger one is a musical one. The other 3 does have Germany on the bottom with some numbers I'm guessing is German, but I don't know. I love Antiques seen them thought they were beautiful and brought them. didn't even know what they were. lol. I'm looking to try and get more information about them, if you can help plz let me know. There is writing on them but it's all German.

Hello John, I just came across this video trying to find information on a couple of beer steins I purchased at a flea market. They do not have any markings on the bottom or inside and they do not have their lids. Is there any other place I should be looking that might provide me any information? Thank you in advance.

Another big giveaway is the pewter lid. Probably the easiest to identity real from metal Chinese lids.
