Ah, Baltimore. City of my birth. Lived there for 37 years before moving to Chicago. I love my hometown but admittedly I hear some areas have gotten pretty bad. That said, Fell's Point and the Inner Harbor are two of my favorite places in the city. And despite living there for so long, I never had soft shelled crabs, just steamed and of course crab cakes. But Berger Cookies? LOVE those. Glad you had a great time at my old stomping grounds!

The Baltimore Inner Harbor has a nice German-style/inspired Christmas Market, in somewhat of the style of German Christmas markets, from about Thanksgiving time until just before Christmas. The nice wooden stalls of the front part of the market makes me miss the Christmas markets that I visited in Munich. In 2019 they even added a German-made Christmas "Pyramid" to the market. To anyone near Baltimore or DC in the weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it's definitely worth a visit.

I’m glad I watched the other parts though, because it made me so happy to hear nice things about Bmore. Things to do in Baltimore -, there in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, baseball park, there is also another long street that is pretty cool that goes from the Harbor, more into town. I forget the name of it. Charles Street? But there are restaurants and such on that street, and around that street. So it's not just the Harbor.

There are so many Art museums. They could have walked all the way from the Harbor to North Avenue through Charles st. Gone to Paterson Park. Gone for a walk around the Avenue in Hampden. Ft. McHenry, Fed Hill, that alone makes for a whole day. COVID has made everything difficult in tourist areas. They should come for the next Artscape.

Actually You can come by Softshell Crab also in Germany but you have to go to specific stores or order Online if you wanna do it by yourself. Sometimes Their are Streetfood fairs where you can get them to . I had a burger with it at one. And you would prefer Mayo with it not ketchup especialy lemongrass mayo or a Sauce on the acidic side . They are also often found in japanese Restaurants Tempura fried . The best one I had was in bangcok though in a Japanese Restaurant there.

Idk if they still do it but they had a duck ride and boat tour. Can’t remember what it is called I went when I was like 13 or 14 and I’m 35 now, so yea it’s been along time. You would start off getting on a duck tour bus and you go around the city then it can drive right into the water and become a duck boat lol. They also give a duck whistle well it sounds like duck quacking lol. But it was a fun tour for families and young kids.

No pit beef? You can get crabs in a lot of places. The further you get from Baltimore, the more likely it is that people haven’t even heard of it, much less finding any. But if the thought of a sandwich piled high with yummy beef, with you doctoring it to suit (horseradish sauce and raw onions are probably the classic version), you might want to check it out.
