in the olympics, do the eventers jump lower heights than the jumpers?

Highclass Eventers always jump lower than highclass show jumpers, so yes.

Why is this a sport???? It's the horse that do half of the work

Take a five minute gallop on horse back and you know why it is a sport. While I always love to compare it to dancing since it needs a unity of two athletes, it is physicall work for the rider aswell. Riding is a sport that takes all muscles in the human body to work and adjust itself to the horses movement. Balance is a juge part aswell. But of course the horse does half the work. That is why it is a team effort

ha! you clearly have never done any horse riding. it’s not only physically exhausting, mentally challenging, and involves an insane amount of trust between horse and rider, but is also REALLY dangerous. not only are riders responsible for their own impeccable fitness and technique, but they also have to work extremely hard to maintain their animal. i mean, try it. one time. and see how you spend the next several days in pain while your body adjusts to the intense amount of core strength this sport requires. it’s not easy. far from it.

Yes, the horse does a lot of the work, but every hoof beat, every distance to the fence, every movement is planned and communicated by the rider. That's not something you can learn in a few weeks or months. It takes years upon years to learn. Please don't judge a sport that you've never tried!

Have you even tried riding a horse? This sport is extremely dangerous. You have to trust a 1,000 pound animal with your life. In one second you could be dead. These people have been riding for years. I have been riding since I was 5 years old. Don’t assume that this isn’t a sport. Riders have a bond that can’t be broken with their horse. So next time you go assuming things I suggest you try it your self.
