I have to admit I had to start fast forwarding until Gertie started to look like Gertie! LOL I think I also have the answer to the lipstick color question in B and W movies. I think I remember learning that it was actually black or very dark lipstick so it would look good on screen. Loved the format really, just caught off guard by Gertie.
