This was the LAST performance EVER...by the GREATEST band EVER and the cops were called? What do you think would be the public's reception now if the full Beatles band were to give a Rooftop concert? Who the hell is Taylor Swift and why are we talking about her?

@@veryeasilydistracted49661. Nobody knew this was the Beatles’ last concert at the time. 2. The concert was causing massive traffic and hazard due to people gathering in the streets and blocking. It’s a shame the concert was ended but the police had justifiable reasoning to end it. 3. The Beatles half expected and even envisioned getting arrested. Ringo said he wished he could have used the footage of the arrest for the documentary, for example.

The Apple rooftop (where the gig was filmed) was in the middle of the central London business district. Most of the business people who objected probably didn't even know what was going on, apart from a rather loud 'noise'. It was the 60s. Off-the-cuff events happened. Thank God this one did, and it was filmed too!

I had always assumed that Harrison played the country licks on this tune, but it was Lennon. Love it. These guys could play any instrument they wanted to. Even the Stones, Zep or U2 couldn't do that. I love those bands too BTW. Wish they'd shown Billy more though, he added so much to the tune.

Phenomenal. I had that model Hoffner bass and sold it for 3k to a guy on Ebay last year. he had 30+ bass guitars. He wanted to restore it for his kids as he had lung cancer and was on the way out.
