Synopsis:
Based on the incredible life story of the Godfather of Soul, Get On Up gives a fearless look inside the music, moves, and moods of James Brown, taking audiences on the journey from his impoverished childhood to his evolution into one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Great movie. Brings back great memories for me. I lived though it. The music the dancing and you knew you were alive. When James came on the radio your body did all sorts of moves. Everyone sang the songs. Now this old man is a bit slower but can still get up and dance to James Brown and all the rest. Get on up. Use it or lose it. 😁
