Hey dude you want to throw shot put 9meter right! Just improve your strenth not technique ....glide is base on funadamental moves that require year of practice probaly 1 or 2 year ..hope this help.

Start with the basics. Holding it correctly, the release, and power position. All of those techniques and videos can be found under this channel. Take small steps and make small improvements every practice.
