Same reason when British people do an “American accent” it’s never Michigan or Ohio, it’s always a Texan or California surfer bro/rich girl accent

@@Efcdan1878 Belgians only get taught English when they're 13/14 years old in school so pretty late. Most Belgians speak decent English...before they learn it in school. It's interesting. I think Belgium deliberately never dubbing English speaking TV is probably the main reason (unlike the French, Italians, Germans and Spanish).
