ooh girl I just watched that episode of Girlfriends and I totally agree. It was not his invitation to give period. They were all acting entitled. Maya was acting outta embarrassment because he checked her in front of her friends. I think her real beef with him was the fact that she felt like he chauffeured her around like a trophy rather than picking her up himself once in a while (she mentioned it earlier in the episode). Im a latina and i think the whole independent issue is a thing for us too. Specially because a lot of the latina community comes from old school parents who say well the man has to do this and a man has to do that and women have to do this. So we have become more independent and when we find a good man we are like well why you being so nice to me and why do that for me i can do this and that myself.

It’s more because the youtube diy videos demonstrate face shaving, not dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is often done by professionals with a medical grade razor. Face shaving can be beneficial too but not the same results as dermaplaning, thats why its more costly.
