I think I had a mirror just like yours, and I bought it at Costco. I was ultimately using it for a night light, but I finally gave it to Goodwill. I'm 72 and never really used makeup. But I've realized I better start. You are such an inspiration. Thank you so much. I have lots of spots from Sun damage, and uneven color. I used Bare Minerals in my 40's and forgot. Happy Birthday!🎂 I love your videos! I’m 67 and loved Bare Minerals. The only item I still use occasionally is the Bisque. I always have it on hand. When you finished your foundation I’m saying to myself “Where’s the Bisque, where’s the Bisque?” I was so happy to see you use Bare Minerals. I have a lot of it still left. I have often gave kits away at Xmas. They have eyeliner and mascara too. They do have a liquid line now. I use It Cosmetics now but after seeing and hearing what you said about buffing which I always did but didn’t realize it turns to a cream I won’t be so afraid of it settling in my lines. Thank you for the demonstration. I’m not into wigs. Every time I tried one on, I scared myself. Couldn’t get use to them. I still have a full head of hair so I’ll just keep wearing my own.

Dear Tam, I cannot even begin to understand the pain emotionally of losing your teeth ,bless you ,you are a very brave hun ,,I hope the dental surgeons can help you,I too have had so many operations ,and having a stoma ,and many scars made me feel less of a woman ,so I sort of understand how these things can knock our confidence, that's why I love PATTI as she is a girlie girl like me ,and even in intensive care ,and after my surgeries ,I sat in bed with tubes and drips ,I had my makeup and a mirror ,and like Patti ,I gave myself a full face of makeup ,the nurses doctors loved it ,and asked if I could give them tips and advice lol ,I'm now about to have my fifth stay in hospital facing major surgery ,reconstructing my vertebrae in my neck ,as my spinal cord is trapped between them ,and yep the makeup will come with me lol xxxxx😂😂

I’m with you! For 18 years I wore only BareMinerals and I loved it. Then I started viewing You tube and began trying all sorts of new products. I love the bravery, classical way that you present yourself. I really appreciate all of your stories that you tell. It is wonderful advice from a beautiful classic woman. My mom is 76yrs old and never used foundation or makeup. She doesn't have as many wrinkles as I do. I asked her why she only dressed up on Sunday and only had clip on earrings. Her answer shook me to my core...Mom didn't buy stuff for herself because she bought clothes for my brother and me. My Dad worked as a civilian on base. He built things from map boards to houses. Mom sacrificed her style and beauty for us. She bought me all beautiful clothes and makeup. It broke my heart. Now I visit her daily at the nursing home. I love her so much and want her home; however. I have a terminal illness and I'm a single mother of a sweet 13yr old daughter who I keep in fashionable clothes showing her how to match colors and fabrics. I buy all our clothes except for lingerie at our local thrift store who has a $1 day every month. I buy only items with the tags still on them.I find Chincos, Gap Alfred Dunner, Free People, New Directions, Forever 21, H&M, Levis and "Victorian style vintage" that's my favorite a monochromatic, bohemian, chic style. I love wings and wear them often as well. Love from NC.

Hi Corina...I know what you mean by your mother. I can remember my mother being so pretty as a young woman and as all of us kids grew up and were on our own she really started to take care of herself. She did spend money on her clothes, makeup and hair. I always said she was as cute as she could be every single day. She got up and did her hair, makeup and dress first thing every single morning. I truly believe we don't have to spend a lot of money to accomplish how we want to look. I just wish I had a good thrift store somewhere close to me.
