On my last hike out to Bluebird Lake the wildflowers were just amazing and I think that was 2023. The best I've seen anywhere in RMNP. Your video reinforces that memory. Thank you Nick.

At 5:44 is the shot of where I encountered a "problem bear" August of 2015. Had just finished making my dinner, staying the night at the nearby Upper Ouzel Creek camp spot, and Mr. Problem Bear (that the rangers at the wilderness ranger station warned me about) came a strollin' on 'round the corner sniffin' the air. Didn't run away when I waived my hands and yelled either. But he did run up to my camp spot and pooped right in front of my tent vestibule. Ahhhhhhh, memories. Thanks, Nick.

You know I love me some Bluebird Lake! I know it's a long way out there, but it is beautiful the whole way! Great work, as always! ❤

I agree. This is a scenic and memorable hike. The snowpack was still quite large when I hiked this in early July, 2023.

Thanks Nick for the videos! We only get out to RMNP a couple times a year so your videos prove very useful in helping us decide what hikes to do. We did bluebird lake when we were there end of July and loved it!

I have been to many national parks, but Rocky is on another level. Beautiful video! If you want to watch the best Rocky Mountain NP videos, Nick is your best choice. 👌 Best of the best!!!

I agree. We have been to many national parks and they are great but for me Rocky is in a class by itself. Perhaps part of that is that 95% of the park is designated as wilderness. You won't find a hotel once you pass through an entrance station or even a flush toilet for that matter as far as I know anyway.

@rm7718 Thanks Buddy! The hike didn't really go as planned, but it's always nice to visit Bluebird Lake. It's probably in my top 5 lakes for RMNP.

I didn't know that snow ramp of death stayed year long! Nice video.

@thomasclark8119 I like that name! 😅 But really I think those should be called Copeland Falls since they are coming off Copeland Mountain. But I checked the book when I got home and they are indeed unnamed.

@@nicksangetta8874Yeah they stopped that from working. Gotta put them up there manually. You deserve so many more views for what you do!

@visciousadventures I appreciate that! Last time I tried to manually load vids there they had a 15 gig limit.. most of my vids are nearly twice that big so I wasn't able to. But that was a long time ago. Maybe things have changed.

You should maybe try out the Hoka speedgoats.! Best hiking shoe ever. They are trail runners but super comfortable and you get hundreds of miles out of them. No break in needed. I've tried every shoe and boot out there and they are my go to!! Great video! trying to do this one at the end of Sep;)

@Thenarrowpath833 Thanks for the suggestion! I think I finally got the boots broken in, and adding an insole made a HUGE difference. Before, those things had like zero cushion. But yeah, I was thinking if they didn't work to try some trail running type shoes.
