Mortgages and other bank loans may be difficult to obtain and come with high rates of interest, but store credit is a different matter. I have observed Filipino citizens getting lines of credit from retail vendors quite readily, and with very attractive rates of interest. 🙂

My girlfriends parents got a loan to build a house, it was a high interest rate, I cant remember exactly. She also told me if you dont pay back a loan in the Philippines you can, or will be put in jail.

I could never imagine asking someone to borrow money. From what I can tell your spouse would be working for satisfaction instead of money anyway.

If there Is no credit check etc how do foreigners rent property to live.
@joshuarizalforeman8167 ай бұрын
Don't rent. Get a Filipino partner to buy it. You can always throw in a few legal provisos to prevent yourself from being ripped off.

My ex always asked me if my car house etc was paid off she always saved and paid in cash on her car If I was going to buy a house I would take out a equity loan in my country and avoid the Philippines interest rates Good video salamat adios
@danluzurriaga60357 ай бұрын
You would have to do something like that. You could bring in 500,000php per month in USA sourced retirement income and you will not be approved for a ;poan or credit card but a Philippines citizen making 10,000 pesos per month will be approved.

Boy do I disagree with the notion of getting your Filipina involved with credit, or yourself for that matter. I've worked hard at putting myself in a position where I live on 1/3 my income, save the rest, and live a debt free, cash on the barrelhead life. Don't tell me it can't be done. I live north of Austin TX, have a 2020 mobile home and a 2023 car all paid for and a good amount in savings. All on an income near the poverty level. It's called keeping your wallet in your pocket. It's way better to teach your Filipina to set money aside as savings and ignore the endless requests for emergency needed monies by family.... Good luck with that.
@jessieball61957 ай бұрын
Good for you, but the fact is not everyone (especially in your income range) can afford to pay cash, or even put any substantial amount of money aside.
@Captain-Max7 ай бұрын
I politely disagree with you. I spent a lifetime deep in debt, making ridiculous payments. When you reach the point where you're tired of being broke, you make the changes necessary to make it happen.

I would maybe deposit let’s say 1500$ USA per month in my gf fiancé bank say she is a independent business owner Let that show as income Have her withdraw giv back to me But at least have a income source on paper for her Do it 1-2 years until you want your loan I actually did the exact same thing in USA already for my ex But with a lot higher amounts And it worked Of course America vs ph I’ll add a pice of jewelry or and a car payment mostly to make it look good
