I'm a huge diesel fan. I've had a 300SD Turbo Diesel (Best car ever had), 07 ML320 CDI (least favorite), Currently own 14 E250 BlueTec and 15 VW GOLF Sportwagen TDI. And do most of my own work on all of them. I think that inline six you have there was a good engine. When you discuss difficult start in cold weather, if a glow plug is an issue in a CDI it should trip a check engine light, no matter what the starting conditions. In short my 07 ML 320 CDI tripped a check engine light for "Bad #4 glow plug" which after replacement turned out after further troubleshooting, it was the glow plug controller itself.

@@LegitStreetCars Rust on a W211? Blasphemy! Probably better to just buy newer doors from a face-lift car in the same color. Lucky for you, the balance shaft in the face-lift V6 has sent a lot of them to an early grave, so a quick search of car-part.com, and you'll have some new doors!

FCP Euro for the WIN! Also worth noting that FCP Euro do NOT sell junk brands because of their lifetime guarantee and this is one of the many reasons why I only buy my Benz and Volvo parts from FCP Euro AND if they dont have a part listed its as easy as calling them and asking that they get that part in for you, Been a happy customer for a very long time and even their international freight costs and the best value. Another quick option for the Headlight Lenses is green cutting paste and a small 6 inch buffer on low speed, I also then wipe Autoglym resin polish on the lenses and buff it off which fills any minor crazing not buffed out AND helps to keep the lenses clean of road grime. Works a treat and the lenses come up like brand new as Mercedes seem to use an awesome quality material on their lenses.

The 400cdi pump isnt a straight fit for the 320cdi. You also have to drill and tap new holes to the cylinderhead to get it mounted. Email blacksmoke, dieselmeken or dieselpumpuk.
@3rdpartyU5er5 жыл бұрын
Hey alex! That pump is correct. The lines need heavy modifications for the pump to fit. Nobody says anything about because they expect you to know already about it. You need someone to do you those hardlines.

The aftermarket bumper kits are typically junk. But if you can get it together, no one will know after it's painted. Regarding the fuel pump, if you can't replumb a couple of metric isobubble hard lines then maybe the project is not for you. Get the mastercool hydraulic flare kit and a good line bender and have at it.

In front of these blue boxes on the right side lies a common rail diesel pump, this black triangular thing with shiny oval passive cooler, internally called CP3.3. They are made in Bosch plant in Jihlava, Czechia, in Europe. I worked there for 10 years. I made the housing and internal part called excentric shaft. You have definitely the wrong pump. It is a Bosch CP 3.3 too, like your replacement CP3.3, just another model. I think there're about 20 different models of CP3.3.
