Very nice video. This game looks very promising, I have also played the demo a little bit. Just a tip, in 28:00 when you are building a chain of conveyors, you don't actually need to build one by one, moving the crane for every tile, you can just drop every iron on top of just one conveyor and it will build the whole chain. Cheers from Brazil!

Shame you can't do the same when you deconstruct them. I actually gave up on this demo for this reason. There is too much pointless clicking.

I’ve been playing this one for a bit. Some really neat ideas in it (I’m a sucker for programmables in this vein, such as Autonauts, Mechanica, Craftomation, Desynced, etc). Still needs a bit of work, but they’ve been dropping patches fairly often.

Icaria has come a very long way since I last tried the playtest back in January. I love programming games, but they are a little tricky to cover on KZbin, IMO. The game already has a way to create and save fairly complex scripts. In the long term, these scripts can save a ton of time through automation and reuse. The challenge for content creators like me is presenting those features without it becoming a very time consuming (to create) tutorial video.

Good looking game, feels like a 'micromanagment simulator' with that coding of step by step. I guess it stretches out the game play ^^ still, will love to see where this goes.

I think the main objective is to create reusable scripts that can automate pretty much everything you're doing, particularly the mining and keeping production lines fed. I should probably be taking more time to create reusable scripts but I don't want this first Let's Play season to drift into becoming a tutorial series.

@@stupich5868 not weird really when you play the same type of game genre and looking for ppl to play those games with. Got loads of those type of games, enjoy em but literally only played em solo cos I’ve had nil luck finding anyone to co-op with.
