Fascinating topic, Forrest. Something super interesting about the flow state is that your brain goes into something called transient hypofrontality, which turns off your "I" (the narrative you call your identity) and you become one with what you are doing with no conscious inner witness whatsoever. It is moving absorption so to speak. I love your nuanced description in the framework of Kriya. Blessings and blissings!

When your video came up I was filming a 1 minute forest-theraphy to share with my friends. No kidding! (I also spelled it Forrest-therapy, I am realizing now. Mistake not a mistake 😄) 💚🧡💚🧡💚

Such an amazing analysis and explanation of the flow state during different activities. It sounds a bit silly but I experienced this doing a puzzle a few days ago. I only do puzzles about once per year, usually in January when it's too dark and dreary to go outside, so I don't think of myself as an expert practiced puzzler😂 but that activity seems to suck me into the present moment every time. The other day I watched as without thinking or trying at all my hands magically and quickly grabbed the correct pieces and put them into place. Thanks for sharing another terrific video Forrest 😊

💙🙏🏻💙Forrest, I had a new experience in meditation this morning that I’m so curious about. I have to sit straight up in a chair I’m 72 and can’t get on the floor so my legs were not in a weird position. My legs seemed frozen or paralyzed through an hour long meditation and I was comfortable with it, and didn’t mind at all. Part of me thinks I went to sleep, but the other part of me thinks I didn’t because I remained sitting straight up my head didn’t nod. I was so comfortable and didn’t care if I got up or not. Is that paralyzed feeling a common meditation experience?
