Considering the entire water heater was made in a work area no bigger than the storage shed in my backyard......not half bad. Of course it wouldn't pass inspection here in the US by a long shot, but in a country like Pakistan with near zero safety laws, a water heater like this is what most everyone uses.

About the missing pressure relief valve: I'm almost sure those things are gravity feed from a cistern on top of the house and the hot water pipe also runs up to the top of the house and a bit higher than the cold water cistern where it's open to the air, that's how it was done decades ago.

yes you are correct could only be low pressure gravity type unit also has no sacrificial anode for a longer life wont last long with there water.

@@СветланаДовченко It doesn't matter if it's gas, wood or electric, if the tank is made of steel, it will last longer with sacrificial anodes. Steel boats also use anodes to protect the hull, they are usually made of zinc or aluminum. Compact (on-demand) water heaters use a copper heat exchanger and the water usually doesn't contain substances that can damage the copper.

The welder is sure about his welds that are sealed, no time for pressure testing, and the relief valve is missing of course, no need one, but that boiler will become a ticking bomb soon😒

The only correct thing is that the safety valve goes to the cold water supply after the non-return valve. At least that's how it is in most EU countries. It should not be on the tank. Everything else is poorly done
