In case you were wondering why Nitro gets hit at 4:46 , it turns out that while Trovao has a gigantic projectile nullification box, none of Asuka's cubes are included in the category of projectiles... for some reason. Because of this, in order to nullify the cubes, the move's actual hitbox has to hit them, and Gio's hurtbox is bigger than the hitbox on Trovao. It's genuinely mystifying to me why that's the case. The move would at least provide some counterplay otherwise.

@@Chronicle___320 Purely speculation here, but I have a feeling they made Asuka's cubes not count as projectiles because they didn't want Potemkin to just win the matchup for free yet they still wanted Asuka to be a projectile heavy character. So they just made them not count as projectiles so they could have their cake and eat it too. Could be totally wrong on that though.

When used at this peak asuka has excellent long range excellent mid range and good short range. Very few openings with little time to actually take advantage of them. Paired with the fact that he's the hardest to play in the game making good asukas rare very little counterplay has been developed for him. If you're in the higher floors and see an asuka i pray for you

Not as easy as it sounds, but she's gotta rush Asuka down and not let him set up. Gotta not let him make some space between them, but it is honestly really hard to get used to since there's not even that many Asukas to practice against.

Asuka has gaps in his neutral. You can spy yhemand hit him with long ranged or full screen attacks and supers during those gaps. To keep spamming cubes as fast as possible, he needs to spend his own lifebar. Look how often Nitro blocks for most of the round, and Zando is at half HP just from restoring his mana. Gio, you just 6P/2K in neutral and downback on defense until she is forced to grab lol

So, anyone give me idea about 3v3 mode? From what I've heard and observed it's 3 online player vs 3 online player mode not like UMVC3 or Skullgirl. Look and feel extremely chaotic and so much fun. After learning that you can't play as single player online and single health bar kind of disappointing. Since it's beta their chance we will get better outcome. Edit: At least they're bringing back Isuka.

It's kinda interesting watching this. Nitro never really won, Ditto just f'd up by jumping or teleporting. Those teleports keep finding their ways into 5H or dp's. This was actually really educational.

The best characters have been around since patch 1.0 and have been popular throughout all 3 seasons, and this is undebatable. However, now they are introducing more and more pay-to-win characters and buffing and polishing the entire DLC roster. The Strive developers seem to be completely biased towards certain characters and favoring them over others. I believe that everyone deserves equal treatment, not just a few favorites and DLC characters. The Strive community has always claimed that their game was balanced, but that is simply not true. When some characters were ignored in patch notes and were swapped out by the best players, others received constant attention and love from the developers. It seems that this game and community have a rotten core.
