I’m so happy they’ve been sharing more scenes. Maura and Taby are fantastic together. I love that Trina has this relationship. An older confidant that she can go to to bounce ideas off of. I wish Spencer had the same thing. He needs a mentor or someone who’s invested in him without an agenda.

It feels like they’ve backed off that Portia story these last few weeks. I do kind of wonder if she believes what she said to Curtis about not being able to control Trina’s life and seeing that Spencer cares about her. It wouldn’t mean her feelings have changed, but maybe she’s not actively trying to split them up anymore. And if I’m being real, the show really never fully committed to this. Sure we got moments here and there. Especially during the summer I pretend never happened lol. But since then, it’s been like two scenes with esme…I still want that to come out though.

It would be an easy and understandable position Portia: “I realized I’d gone too far when the girl who drugged my daughter and almost killed a man called me her friend”…Cuz this show isn’t committed to Portia being a villain. But she can’t be an Esme sympathizer. That’s too problematic. I hope the writers listened to our concerns about that.

Loved Ava and Trina scenes. Ava always knows how to advise Trina in a way that she’s not telling her what to do but guiding her so that she can come to her own conclusions, after allowing her to express herself, without judgement and bias. ❤

She has more substance/depth now : we know about her inner thoughts, her feelings, her dreams, her hopes for the future (career and all) while interacting with others. Love that! Can we just say Ava is the Mom 😂. Ava rides all day everyday for Trina but she also pushes her to say what she needs to say out loud then says Trina you know what you need to do. Trina and Spencer never discussed Ace/Esme situation fully since they got together. Ava was right talk to Spencer and tell him how you feel then listen to how he feels. I think Joss is going to intercept before they talk. It will open Spencer's eyes to Trina's points of view and how she feels

Is it just me or was this conversation b/w Trina and Ava not helpful at all? Because I feel like Trina has had the same conversation with Spencer over and over again. What else is there to talk about? I feel like there’s only so many ways you can tell your boyfriend he needs to rearrange his priorities. He knows how Trina feels at this point. He’s either willing to sacrifice or he isn’t. I feel like we got nowhere today.

@@goodmusiq3539 Trina has asked questions and made suggestions. She’s never truly said how she feels. Instead she has tried to direct Spencer in the direction she wants him to go. Asking him where he sees himself in 5 years, instead of telling him where she sees herself. Asking what makes him happy, instead of saying what makes her happy. She talks about her art, but is that all she wants, I doubt it. It’s kind of like her waiting for him to say I love you before she felt she could. They are living separate lives and need to decide what their lives together should be.

@@tr738 I feel like she already spoke on that in New York, before they went to New York and after they came back to Port Charles. They’re already in a committed relationship. She doesn’t need to spell out “I wanna be with you or you should get your own place or WE should get our own place” for Spencer to address their issues in the present. This isn’t about discussing the future, it’s about the disrespect she’s currently experiencing now. Idk I feel like she’s done a very good job of expressing herself and her needs. A man that gets it would get it immediately.

Ava had Trina sit down and she talked Woman to Woman to her (a popular song back in my day). She gave her some great advice and also told her to have a conversation with Spencer and talk to him and listen. Ava brought up some great points and made Trina think about what she needed to do but, in a kind, way. It was good that Ava pointed out that you can't keep avoiding him, talk to him, and let him know how she feels, and also listen to him and how he feels. Trina was less stressed talking to Ava.

Ava gave good advice but it really didn’t seem like spencer resolved his ace problems today. He pretty much had the same conversation with esme today as he did the other day at the metro court. I can’t believe it hasn’t become obvious to spencer that esme is playing games with him and Laura. She only wants to move out so he will follow her and ace to the new apartment and so she can steal time away from him and Trina. Spencer also needs to realize that he cannot keep stringing Trina along in a relationship making her feel like an outcast in her own relationship while he continues to live with esme and ace.

I’m gonna guess Spencer made the onscreen call to someone else, AND that he’s been blowing up Trina’s phone since yesterday. Which is why she doesn’t want to go to the dorms… in case he tries to “ambush” her there. (Though Trina girl, the gallery would be his next stop 🤭). I’m also gonna guess the Joss heart to heart is gonna play out at the dorm since he’ll go looking for Trina there. Them leaving us on a mini cliffhanger about who did he call and then having Trina’s next scene confirm he text is too easy. Maybe he’s had Diane Miller on the back burner this whole time.

Nah. Trina has told Spencer how she feels too many times. He just cant be bothered to listen. Spencer would need to grovel if I was Trina to get me back and that ultimatum was uncalled for. She’s been way more accommodating than like 95% of any partner in this situation. Tired of lil miss faking amnesia and them letting Spencer walk all over her. I like this look for T. He needs to grow the hell up or get the hell out of her way. And I’m a Sprina fan but my mans is no bueno!

I absolutely love Ava. Portia who may be right evokes the womb attachment privilege, which she feels (like a lot of mothers) makes her fleet commander and Trina junior fleet commander in Trina's own life, when her child lives independently of her now most of the year. It's never been for me that Portia is wrong about Spencer, his family, but how she addresses it. She doesn't realize that she functions from a place of fear and presents short of social decorum. Abrasive like a scouring pad. Her delivery creates the "I told you so" response when Trina doesn't win the race, instead of training her to be the best she can be because she cannot control the performance of others on the track or team. She doesn't inspire confidence in her child, but fear of failure unless she does it Mommy's way. Remember the wedding. She searched high and low for Trina for the toast, but when it came time to toss the bouquet "I don't want her to catch it anyway". 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Then proceeds to tell Trina, after it falls at Trina's feet "don't get any ideas". Meanwhile the men (and Stella) in Trina's family who don't trust Spencer as far as they can throw him function as her royal guard, having her back, and trust her to make her own decisions because that's what she is ultimately going to do anyway. When she needs them, she'll call in the cavalry. Ava creates a leader, Portia is micromanagerial. And they are different. --- With that said, nothing was accomplished today. The writers are playing in our faces. It was laundry day of wash rinse repeat. Ava's talk was incredibly supportive, but Trina has established her position which is why she chooses to avoid talking to Spencer. Her opinion isn't changing unless his changes. The Cold War. There is nothing to compromise, they both established their final offer. We're good in this camp. Are y'all good over there is the question. GH writes for the maturity age of 14, I have to keep reminding myself of that even while GH forgets quite a few of us haven't been that age in a while.

GH needs to let it go. There is no way they can redeem black swan with her wedged between #Sprina and delaying the justice owed to Trina. If they try to feed us too much more of this they'll be void of viewing. They will lose: 1) #Sprina 2) an immense portion of a demographic 3) and their racist trolls who have no interest in the show, simply trolling but help give #GH attention #GH writers need to shift out of this and do it now before they are forced to _temp cast_ Spencer to finish it, and that is a lot of energy and momentum to lose if you build the three-year tiered cake and serve cake pops instead. She will never likely stand trial, so give her a send off that looks like death, which will void the that fake testimony of Nik trying to kill her and push the video of her making her contraband purchases. Give her to Nik to deal with. He's her problem now anyway. Her angst on #Sprina is not digestible any longer. It's delaying Spencer's rise. @@lulaallen

THANK YOU AVA! Sitting down and talking with Trina was great. I like that she calmly explained what she interpreted as Spencer's point of view and admitting that he was short changed by his father in the parent department. Something Spencer has been repeating to anyone who will listen for at least two years now! I think pointing out that she needs to sit down with Spencer, where they both can express how they are each feeling in a calm manner is the guidance that was needed. I know we are all our own heroes in the our own story, but she didn't state how exuberant her "finally" was stated. Tone sometimes has more impact than words. I also don't think that Spencer gave her an ultimatum, he asked her not to put him in that position. Maybe the words "you won't like the answer" can be considered the ultimatum or threat part, but from my opinion he's asking her to work with him, see how they can make things work in this situation, I don't know work on a compromise because that's what a relationship is all about. I also don't like that in both scenarios that we've seen them fight, it's Spencer who is reaching out to apologize or at least initiate a reconciliation. While some might say it's because he's in the wrong, and maybe you can say that is the case, having one person in a relationship always reach out to fix it isn't healthy. Trina needs to show she's willing to step up to make it work and initiate a reconciliation when they do argue. I also liked how that Ava pointed out, the situation and argument really isn't about Ace, but more about Esme. Which I think is completely true. If Esme was gone either in jail or dead, I don't think Trina would be putting this much of a stink up about Ace. While it's completely understandable. If she loves Spencer, and she knows how important Ace is to him, she needs to determine if she wants to remain in this relationship and work on a compromise that is acceptable by both of them. Here's to hoping they make this work and and we can get some great SPRINA scenes in the future!

What would be the compromise? She has been compromised already by letting him live with his ex-girlfriend and her baby for months. Is she supposed to let that continue for years? She expressed her point of view in the gallery, at Laura's, when she said boundaries were being blurred. Spencer has too much abandonment trauma to let his brother live 24 hrs without him. He needs therapy. Esme is using her baby as a pawn to trap Spencer. She manipulations everyone around her using that baby. Yet, given his financial resources, there are many solutions to this situation. He has to learn to let go of the need to control every aspect of his brothers life. He's projecting his pain onto his brother.

There are many times Trina has gone to Spencer. She's gone there several times to Laura's house, always to be interrupted by Esme. It is possible they can work out their relationship. They are both young and need to grow. GH just keeps throwing up a boatload of obstacles every time they get close immediately afterward.

They both have to communicate, go to Sonic or a hamburger place, order something to eat, and just talk and listen and not get mad. If they get mad, grab hands, kiss, and makeup. Spencer & Trina need to learn (Buzz Love words) to say to each other. I hope they will say they are sorry to each other and set some boundaries. I read it online on one of the spoiler sights that they are going to have Spencer choose to live with Esme and Ace, which will in turn break SPRINA up. It didn't say anything about Ace not being a Cassadine it just said that Spencer chooses family over love (or true love) something along those lines. The more I read it went on to say that Spencer starts to see Esme in a new light (so that right there tells you that he is going to get back with Esme to raise Ace). So all of this incredible build up and the NYC getaway was if you think about it just so Spencer can get laid and Trina can lose her V card??. That is literally what I am thinking now.
