I would play with that af stuff to much, it gets to sound almost like needing to take it to the mechanic, but the fuel adaptives??... Absolutely yes... I also just ordered the Truck Norris cam for my turboed LS2 GTO engine.... And because of your 1st video I also will be having my tuner play with the spark idle adaptives.... Bro I have the exact same truck! Only difference is the color mines an 04 silverado extended stepside LT with the 5.3l and I want to twin turbo it soooo bad! BTW my color is the Burch wood silver color and on 24s. And sounds so good with the catback duels! Thanks for your video's and love the 5.3l twin turbbed civic too! EDIT DAMN I THOUGHT IT WAS THE SAME TRUCK UNTIL I SAW THE FRONT END ON THE NEXT VIDEO....

Bro I just put a cam in my truck and she sounds awesome I’m getting my HP tuners soon and when I do I’m going to learn how to tune her. But the cam is a stage 2 and it’s from summit no complaints but when I get my single cab Chevy I’ve been looking for I’m going to throw a crate motor and cam in her and I might look into turbos but idk yet

@@joelmichotjr97 is it throwing a misfire code at all? It could just have a nasty misfire. I would take the cam out and compare it to a stock cam or have a shop do it. If you can’t contact the previous owners that’s the only way you’ll find out

You'll know if it's a cam or not based on how fast it goes when you floor it. If it's way too sluggish, somethings broke. If it gets up and goes faster than it should then it's cammed. If it just drives and gets up to speed normally then may just be a weird idle circuit issue

pro tip if you just want the fake chop at idle pull the main pcv vacuum line off the intake and it will lope harder than this. sounds like a nasty cam.

Your doing the opposite of what most tuners do after a camshaft is installed with more duration and lift for more mid range and top end horsepower and torque usually the tuner will adjust or program the computer to make it idle as smooth as possible but with a camshaft with more duration and lift even with good tuning it with chop at idle
