Loved my visit last Dec! Wish I could email you a photo that is so mysterious. I had departed through the far end of the Great Hall's arch/doorway behind the 'throne' chairs and took a right. Turned around to get a photo looking back through the arch from the other room for the perspective of the differing architectural features. Swear NO ONE was there. Eventually when reviewing my visit's photos, I gasped at what I captured during that particular photo - a black hooded, long cloaked, blurry white face (with no eyes) apparition! Wish I could have an expert analyze it. Great job on this production and all of your fine editing and effort! Thanks so much!

Another excellent video. If I ever get back to the UK Hampton Court Palace is number 1 on my list of places to see. I just didn't have time to visit on my last trip. Regarding the cold spot you encountered, it reminded me of something that happened when I was on a ghost hunt at Sachs Bridge near Gettysburg in Pennsylvania. There was an area by my right shoulder was freezing cold. This was late May so we were all in summer clothes.

Oh that’s so interesting about your similar experience in Gettysburg (a very haunted place from what I gather). If you do come to the UK for about £50 you can join Historic Royal Palaces and that will give you access to Kensington Palace, Hampton Court and the Tower of London, gives you a discount in the gift shop and will save you quite a bit on admission prices. Detailed history and paranormal incidents- a win win situation in this video, perfectly balanced and objectively recounted. Excellent. Incidentally there was a cold spot at the top of the stairs in the Victorian building where I worked. The place had a paranormal history from the experiences of other workers. A former owner was found dead at the bottom of the stairs and this was verified by relatives who visited. That said I stayed overnight there and even dozed off at the bottom - experienced nothing more that learning that taxi drivers were relieving themselves in the passage way at the back of the place!!

I went on a ghost tour at HCP a few Hallowe’ens ago. One of the stories we were told was of a black shadowy figure that has been seen by staff working in the wine cellars. They used to have a kitchen shop right next to the cellars and the retail staff saw it frequently. So maybe that figure was causing the drop in temperature, even though you couldn’t see it.

Outside of the pub and the stables, the town consists of farmland as far as the eye can see, several houses and a prominent railway station where goods would be stored. I think the sword was preferable, to avoid the mutation an axe is known to cause. Loved your personal story about the “cold spot”. I was walking though the tunnels of the hospital I worked at early in morning hours, during a nightshift. As I turned a corner I walked though a cold spot. Freezing cold. I walked around it and put my hands though it, and, as you, yourself report, it was a circle. I poked my hand and a finger though it and I yep, it was circular, just as you said. Hello Alex and thank you! Yes there was a delay in getting this video out but I’m so glad you enjoyed it and have a wonderful weekend in Ohio! Is it cold with you? We’ve got a storm this weekend (another one!) 🙏🙋♀️👻
@alexcarter25426 күн бұрын
@ghostcasebook1266 Nicola I never mind a delay on you getting one of your videos out because I know it means the video will only be that much better 😉. It is FREEZING in Ohio right now!!! They sayyy it's supposed to warm up by Monday, but I don't know... The real temperature has been in the low 30s/high 20s in the mornings all week long, raising up to the high 30s, low 40s by the afternoon, but the wind-chill has just been absolutely vicious at 15-20 degrees, sometimes as low as 5 or 10. Mind you, our temperature scale is a bit different than yours, and ours is higher 🤣. So, in terms of centigrade, basically the temperature has been sitting around 0 all week, and in the mornings and at night dipping well below 0, especially so when considering the wind-chill. And I'm a high school teacher here in northwest Ohio, and so I have a good half-mile walk in between our parking lot and my classroom every morning 🤣. Yes we certainly have gotten an early taste of old man winter this year. I always say though, if it snows, I'll gladly brave the cold, and we have been blessed with a several beautiful dustings of snow this week and last week, so I refuse to complain 🤣. You say you have a storm coming, is that a rain storm then, or is it cold enough over there right now to snow as well?
@ghostcasebook12665 күн бұрын
Oh goodness me you have harsh winters. Over here we had a storm which was high winds and rain but no snow. It’s not that common for us to have snow but when we do the country can’t cope and it’s so embarrassing! 🫣👻
@alexcarter25425 күн бұрын
@@ghostcasebook1266 we certainly do, and some years are worse than others... There was a historic blizzard in '78 that people still talk about to this day (not me, I wasn't born yet, but I grew up hearing my parents talk about it 😂). It surprises me somewhat to hear you say it doesn't often snow over there. I guess I always thought that mayyybe it snowed a bit less over there than over here, but that you guys still always got a decent bit of snow. As far as coping, a lot of it comes down to the local government. When it snows here, we have an entire infrastructure that goes to work to make the roads/railways safe for us. Once a snowstorm is forecast, they check the snowplows and get them ready to run for a few days non-stop, so as soon as it starts snowing, there's snowplows and salt-trucks out there plowing & salting the roads. And I live in a pretty small city, relatively. I guess that's one of the few things our government does right 😆. Anyway, glad to hear you're doing well dear Nicola. I can't wait for the next episode of Ghost Casebook, and until the next time you come visit us out here stateside 🥳. Cheers! 🍻

Great video, Henry chose the swordsman from Calais as I believe it was because of the botched executions he was more than familiar with. I still think Henry still loved Anne as her initials AB still remain carved into the wood in the great hall, why would he keep that reminder? Jane Seymour was a subservient safe bet, Anne was under his skin, he was passionate about her, but she was always toxic, and couldn't be tamed, which Henry tired of. Henry was 22 years older than her, and at 42 he couldn't afford to lose time in the desire for a male heir, which was another nail in her coffin. He loved Jane because she was meek and mild, who could be molded into what he wanted in a Queen, and she gave him the only thing he really wanted, if she had've lived and only gave birth to females or still borns, he would have found her equally as dull. Anne refused to be Henry's lover, unlike her sister Mary, she sought marriage and the crown, many of those families at court though were more than happy to push their daughters in Henry's way. Catherine Howard's family were no different, her family pushed her into Henry's arms, but she found him repulsive and said so in secret, but nothing is secret at court. That little girl had no idea what she was being forced into, Henry at that time was fat, had syphilis, stank, and his legs were ulcerated. I also believe that Catherine was groomed into cheating on Henry, and succumbed.

When I was at Hampton Court the guides said that Henry had ordered all of his and Anne’s initials to be removed from the palace but the carpenters missed the one in the Great hall. It really is a fascinating aspect of history for sure.I have no doubt that Henry knew Anne Boleyn was innocent. 👻🙏

As always, an amazing video. You put a lot of work into these and I really enjoy them. Unfortunately I am still not able to throw you any money on Patreon as I am a struggling nursing student. I wanted to comment on the photographs of the "apparition" flinging open the fire doors. I watched the live feed of that particular incident and it is very creepy. The questions raised about its authenticity are valid, although when you watch the footage live as it was recorded at the time it is very unusual and unearthly. I believe it is genuine. I am so jealous of members of the Royal family. and all people who get full access to this kind of history with no time restraints attached to their time or inquiry spent in the location.

This was superb GC! Well done thanks for your hard work. Where to start. . Its interesting that Cardinal Worsley & Cybil Penn both died outside of hcp yet still appear in the grounds of hcp. .. Usually people haunt the places they often frequented or lived - died in. .. Interesting of those two skeles found after reports of high strangeness. They obviously wanted Thier story told of incorrect and perhaps secret burial. .. Fascinating about the hidden spindle bricked up. How strange. There's obviously more secrets to come from hcp. .. As for the axeing of Catherine, KH had decided he wanted another wife, so was technically in the wrong. Whereas Catherine had "wronged" KH by having affairs, so in that respect, death by axe seems fitting, in the eyes of KH? .. We visited the cellar on our visit in 2019. It was a warm day ~ 20° outside it was cooler but pleasant inside when we visited. didnt see of feel anything thou. .. I remember reading about Tudor ghost door- gate in the papers. I'm sure, if apparitions can walk through walls move objects (furniture) Opening doors perhaps is not a task beyond them.🤔 . Really enjoyed this episode. So much to comment on. 👍.

I’ve only ever been there once and would love to go back. I’m reading a book at the moment about Henry that I picked up second hand, he really was a tyrant in later life and I have always felt for his Queens, it must of been frightening for them to think they could end up losing their lives. Very interesting about what you and the couple felt in that room, I must confess that I did giggle thinking of you all karate chopping the air.🤭

Another great video! I had something strange happen to me last week (not near Hampton Court as I live in the USA). I work in one of the baby rooms in a daycare and our room is connected to the other baby room by a half wall, so I can generally hear what’s going on in that room, but I was on the opposite side of the room. All the babies were asleep and my coteacher was in the bathroom, so I was the only adult in my room at the time. I was filling out the cleaning log when I heard what sounded like an adult male voice whisper something behind me and I whipped my head around so fast because it sounded like it was almost right behind me. Most of my coworkers are women, there are some men, and we had contractors there that day fixing stuff but no other adults were in my room at the time. I have never hallucinated in my life. I don’t know what it was and I’m not sure I want to know but I was freaked out.
