I seen a pro MLG player use that p226 with muzzle brake. A good 2 shot kill weapon for sure.

Kinda late but the p226 has a long 2 shot kill range so the muzzle brake makes it super long

Hey driftor, when you get around to the gun stats and talk about the effective ranges, it would be helpful if you actually provided a graphic of an in game example of what the actual distances are: for example, have view of a particular alley, and mark off in colored line segments the different effective distances, and the reason i ask for an actual graphic of distances is in BO2 you talked about all the ranges for guns but its really hard to empirically say how far anyone is in that game as there are no rulers and mile markers, so if you could provide actual "this is 18 meters, this is the actual effective range" graphics for things, especially the grenades like you did last season, i, and alot of other cod players, would greatly appreciate it. upvote this if you think this is a good idea!

Based upon Drift0r's own opinions in earlier in-depth episodes for this game, it's a title much more friendly to the pubsters, the guys who played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, where every weapon was overpowered in its own way, where the maps were much larger, and it seems a bit more unique with its more specialized kill-streak system where you have the classic deadly killstreaks, the support killstreaks (dropping ammo crates to resupply at and ballistic vests to increase health).

You should try the .44 magnum with muzzle break (if you've got the aiming skills to a such slow gun). It's a one shot kill up to a pretty descent range. Sorry for bad english, it's not my main language.

you shouldn't be losing really any velocity really cause it redirects the gas as the bullet leaves the barrel and at that point it doesn't matter, the muzzle brake will decrease felt recoil and make the weapon louder and depending on the style change the way the muzzle flash looks but it would not effect range or power or accuracy depending on the gun and brake interacting with one another. The thing that affects range and power the most is the barrel and ammo used in the weapon.

a muzzle break is mostly for helping control recoil so the user can be more accurate but the guns accuracy itself should remain pretty much unaffected but again it depends on the break and the gun and how they handle one another, and the ammo of course.

No one at IF/Treyrach knows how weapon mods work, muzzle breaks lower recoil by compensating for escaping gas, not increase the range of your gun since there's little to no added energy when the gas can escape through the openings on the break. Long Barrel made sense, this doesn't.

A DMR is a real-life weapon classification, it means Designated Marksmen Rifle. He's referencing the marksmen rifle class as DMRs probably because he's been playing BF4, which has DMRs as a weapon class. It's not just a weapon from Halo dude.

Anyone who knows a lot about guns please jump in here if I'm wrong... I was under the impression that a real Muzzle Brake on a real gun is there to decrease the backwards recoil. It redirects the explosion gas inside the weapon back towards the user to combat the effects of recoil. It also slightly decreases muzzle velocity therefore DECREASING range and power. So if this attachment were realistic, it should decrease recoil, decrease range slightly, and make the shot louder to the user. No?

COD and BF games are each in development for 2 years... Battlefield 3 came out in 2011, while COD switches developers every game. Black ops 2 was made by treyarch, so infinity ward's last game was MW3, which was 2 years ago. That gave them 2 years to work on ghosts.

At around 300 views, all view counts are submitted to KZbin's professional counter to make sure there is not one person refreshing constantly. As a result, views freeze at around 301 and the views are slowly refreshed, which is why there are more likes than views early on in this video.

Get the newest beta drivers for your graphics card. Both AMD and Nvidia have new beta drivers up with better optimization for Ghosts. Worth a try, also set priority of Ghosts process in task manager to normal. It's high by default. Thumbs up so people can see :)

Say as much as you will about call of duty it will still sell and it will still have an active community and besides the competitive side of cod plays a major role in the community. A competetivr community for battlefield would improve its overall communoty not saying its bad but this would help it grow maybe even beat cod

Pros don't really use Muzzle Brake on their Remington anymore. It used to be the case, but now pros realize that the Remington already has very good range so a Grip would be more beneficial.

Inf. Ward games are somewhat faster paced, and focus more on modern times. You'll die faster than in Treyarch games, but Ghosts itself has brought a lot of new elements that no other CoD has before. Extinction is most likely going to be more fun than survival was, about like Zombies. The gameplay is closer to MW2/3 than Black Ops 2, but it's the most innovative CoD so far. Whether that's good or bad is up to you. tl;dr - It's got a lot of shiny new stuff.

Not trying to be picky/mean why not rent it from a local Redbox. Ive done this for one reason, to see if the game has actually changed enough for me to want to play. If it hasn't then I can just return the game in 3-4 days and be out no more than 4-6 bucks. But if it is worth getting then Ill get it on PS4 and my stats will transfer over so I have a head start on my leveling.
