how did they think that scene with andrew and erin would not insinuate an intimate relationship between them

This is so cool to watch!!! I think the movie turned out perfectly!!!

Movie would’ve been 100% better with these scenes that were left out. Without these scenes, so many think Andrew was screwed over when in fact if he had feelings for Erin behind Melanie’s back not as many viewers would dislike Melanie’s character such as myself because I was like why choose Jake over Andrew???

Disregarding my favorable predisposition with RomComs, SHA is one of those rare films that I consider "perfect". There is not a scene in this film that does not shine; whether through the acting, direction, writing, cinematography, or the editing. You have made a gem, and I rewatch it constantly. (50x and counting.) Others I have placed in this category (4 of them starring or featuring Binoche) Spotlight Notting Hill 50 First Dates Bliss (1985 Australia) Lucy (Besson) Dan in Real Life Clouds of Sils Maria Damage Riding Giants The Front Page (Lemmon & Matthau) Any of these I could watch again and again.

how did you you put clouds of sils maria & sweet home alabama on the same list I could never tell. Spotlight is a romcom?
@Chucky-hf6oe3 ай бұрын
@@abcxyz-qg3jl no, I compared them as "perfect films". Obviously, this is an OPINION, not a statement of fact, though I must reiterate that I watch a lot of movies a lot of times. I study them, sort of, memorizing mundane trivia which files itself in my head and can be accessed at any moment, even if only to fill out a random non sequitur or as a cross-reference that randomly connected in the caverns of my RAM. In aNy CAse, iT's alWayS RandOm.

When I watched this movie in theater, my 14-year-old eye told me her show wasn't well received. After watching the deleted scenes, I was right. In fact, Bobby Ray did mention it at the bar as an insult. Unfortunately the movie didn't mention this much. But you see it in Mel's clothing though.

My ex friend had a super cute Facebook friend a hot blonde named Erin. I couldn’t believe they were kin. I asked how they were as siblings. He famously said “we get along.” To me that was a sign?

I don’t get the feeling that he was cheating. Erin was the one moving on him, and he just happened to be there. She had a nice ass and he looked at it. So what, big deal. 99 out of 100 straight men would look. How could you not? He also seemed a bit uncomfortable about it too, and handled it like a gentleman. He was also completely dressed. If he were standing there in his boxers I’d suspect something, but not like this. He’s in the clear. She was trowing it out there, and he didn’t take it.

I don’t understand the scenario, pl explain me: she made abortion or she had a miscarriage.
@ellayouresocoolomg5014 Жыл бұрын
pretty sure miscarriage. besides jake says something along the lines of "mother nature knew better" in the dog cemetery scene.
@Chucky-hf6oe6 ай бұрын
Yep I can confirm miscarriage is correct, and she was ashamed/relieved. It also revealed the teenage Jake as unready for marriage. As did the pickup truck scene between Earl and Melanie ("I went to the reception by myself with puke all down my dress while he slept it off in the Travelodge")
