Interesting! I have loved this song since the second i heard it in the opening of Tokyo Ghoul but listening to this live version by Ado was an entirely different experience. My favorite version of that song. When you know the meaning of the lyrics, and then hear Ado's voice dancing through the emotions... So good. Chef's kiss. When I show friends this video, they always ask "Why's she in a cage?" I always tell them "It's because she's a fricken BEAST!"

Ado's concert is basically 60% concert and 40% light show. The lightshow is different each performance and not visually monoton at all.

Ado is anonymous because she's a huge introvert and, to put it mildly, doesn't like herself very much. In an interview a few weeks ago she said that her personal goal for the future ist to "hate herself less", which basically sums it up pretty well. And if you listen to her, you can tell it's genuine and not some kind of PR stunt. You can watch every live song on her channel and will be floored for a different reason every time.

Just to add onto the comments below, the singer of the original, TK, is part of a band called Ling Tosite Sigure. I'd suggest taking a look at them sometime, since you really enjoyed his original Unravel. Another band I'd like to put on your radar is Sokoninaru. I would recommend their song Tenohira De Odoru. She is the closest to a stage musical performer. Usually, the studio version of Ado's songs are much more 'refined' and 'contained' while her live versions are way more intense, emotional and overall 'unhinged'.

Btw, This was the 7th song out of 24. It's just crazy that she starts the concert with those screams, but in fact, she does them in a completely healthy way and managed to finish the concert with a clean voice.In that same concert she sang show (song 23th) and Odo (the last song)

Thanks for having a look at Ado. Only a Japanese star would be willing to remain anonymous in this way, especially as she's only 21 or so, when the Ego is up front. Lovebites and Band-Maid members, for example, only show their stage personas on social media, rarely anything of their real lives. A bit different to western stars! One possible block for Ado showing her face is that she is a very serious protest singer. There is a real possibility that psychotic ultra traditionalists would treat her badly for her song "USSEEWA". The traditional culture of Japan was seriously challenged by telling older people with little respect for very young workers to "Shut The F*ck Up". The work culture is Brutal in Japan and elders are highly respected for there perseverance, unfortunately young people are under respected.
