There is a pair of cakes, one is called Lord Baltimore and it uses all the yolks, and Lady Baltimore uses all the whites. So maybe make a Lord Baltimore cake?

They are actually two different things. Caramel/toffee apples are coated in that and candy apples are coated in hard sugar that's usually died red for some reason or chocolate
