Yes it was marvellous and the speed also seemed very appropriate. Maybe a camera fitted in the cockpit next?

If it had 3 bladed props and you were not told it was a model, you would almost believe it was the real thing. Nice to see Australian markings and no D-Day stripes as well. 👍🇦🇺

wow, stunning! The full scale is 54' span, guessing this must be about 1/4 scale? Twin Moki's or whatever they are sounds amazing!!!
@josephking651512 күн бұрын
I think it may be 1/6. I knew someone who make a 1/6 scale Ju-87 and it was on the very similar scale as this. The Ju-87 went into incredible detail where the rivets were raise as too were the inspection hatches. The guy said he was to scared to fly it after all the time he had put into the aircraft. That was 40 years ago. Sorry, reminiscing just like watching the DH-98 since I swear I could hear Merlins at one stage of his flight.

That RC DeHaviland Mosquito is awesome and by all appearances, seems to fly very well indeed. IRL it was a magnificent aircraft, being very light and very fast with a good payload capacity. @@tbobborap1 I flew slope gliders which were straight winged and fast. I lived in Long Beach CA at the time and we flew where the cliffs were along the ocean. We were always at the mercy of the winds and thermals which were always changing. You would walk to the edge of the cliff, say a Hail Marry, throw it off and try to trim it out as quickly as possible. Maiden voyages were especially nerve wracking. Then, try and land it on a narrow strip of grass which ran parallel to busy Ocean Blvd. Yea, that was fun. I was ecstatic if I could end the day without incident!
