Bought him when he was 3 molts from adult so it wasn't unexpected tho^^ But now it's my Tliltocatl albopilosum that's between 1,5-2 inches (around 4-5cm), which was my first ever tarantula that a friend bought me as a gift. Hey my theraphosa friend just wanted to reach out and tell you I love your tarantula videos. I love theraphosa I have all 3 species, including a big 10 plus inch female stirmi. I also have a 8” plus female blondi, and last but least I have 2 apophysis. One apophysis is around 6” which I’ve had a year and another sling I’m growing up currently. I love all 3 species but stirmi started it all, I raised a male that reached 11 inches. Anyways Just wanted to reach out and thank you for the videos on such a big beautiful tarantula species

If it were my T. stirmi, I would be crying my eye balls out, and be upset as hell. I would try everything in my power to see if the sling could be saved. Trying the ICU method for instance. I have a P. fortis that unexpectedly molted during the winter and broke off two of her legs during the molt. She wasn't doing so great after the molt. But I placed her in ICU, checked up on her daily, and on a regular basis, making sure that she was hydrated and feeding a little bit, until she looked fine. Placed her back in her old home and she looks to be doing completely fine, eating and being up and about (minus the two legs offcourse). 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would feed those T stirmi slings more often than every fortnight I would feed them at least twice a week until they've reached the large juvenile stage I like to feed my slings as much food as they will eat untill they are out off the fragile sling stage cause as slings they lack the wax coating that there larger sub adult adult counterparts have so they dry out much quicker.
