Great to hear Mike on his own Podcast! Been in my ears since i was an early teen. Only had the Giants winning 4 games or 5 if the ball bounced a certain way or the call went their way. They are on schedule for 4 wins maybe if that. My Jets will be OK👌sorry to rub it in.

There's been some weird stuff going on with Daboll. Not sure if its an unknown side effect of the Ozempic but something just seems really off. Giants obviously aren't going to be good but he can still right the ship to some extent and prevent the Maras from being tempted to give Belichick a call.

The Giants as a whole significantly improved from week 1, DJ didn’t turn the ball over, was actually taking shots and scored 2 TDs and got them in position for a 3rd. The o line and run game are also coming along nice. Now it’s against the Commanders so we will have to see if it was improvement or if it was just playing Washington and the Browns game will be very telling in that regard. The D is only 2 games into a brand new system, I’m going to give them a bit to figure out how best to apply the D as the unit continues to understand the scheme and each other better. The coaching and roster management though… we win that game if they just put a competent kicker in as back up which we do have a back up so yea really fd that up. I’m willing to be patient for 2 more weeks before I give up because of the improvement between week 1 and 2, so long as they build on that improvement we should have a good season. If they don’t then well at least we get to pick whatever QB we want next year

My question is will Belicki come back if he is only offered the head coaching job or does he need the general manager job and the head coaching job? I don’t know what has happened to Danilo since year one but he is not the same coach, he knows they can’t make a lot of mistakes and they go into the game with a lame kicker, you can’t do that, you have to be prepared for the unexpected, a good coach would have been prepared for just that instance.

Its going to look ugly, but the best thing for the Giants is just to lose as much as possible this season. Winning 5 games and picking 6th against doesnt do anything positive. Maybe it saves the coaching staff but thats about it. Win 2 games, hire Bill, draft the guy you want and take it from there. Daboll is good but IDK if he's a Superbowl caliber coach going forward. By Week 12 the media will have him out the door.

It's early but NYG appears to be the 2nd worst team in the NFL. Given their schedule and roster, a 4-13 season looks accurate. As for their last three GM's, Reese was bad, Gettleman worse and now Schoen, with his mostly unproductive draft pics and roster mismanagement. From top to bottom, the NYG futility is reminiscent of the lean years, 1964 - 1983. Maybe Mara, the only consistent thread within this putrid organization, should sell the team.
