So this new anime is basically all of the side stories that did not get adapted like the kyoto trip and the school festival. This is not a sequel it is just an extension of the original horimiya that adapts what the manga did not. It basically takes place between the start and end of horimiya.

@@gregoryfolsom7882 rudeus is too early imo, he is great, but it feele off to put him there when his character arc has just started. i think erwin is by far the best character in aot. so i would put hin there before even considering eren. i honestly wouldn't put neither lum nor atrso boy in the list, but thats just me. i also love haru, but i agree with gigguk on only putting one character from every series in the list.

Can't have someone appreciate Big 3 and DB without others throwing negative opinions about them. Especially because they're mainstream. Gintama slightly gets the blessing without the curse. You can literally see lots of praises about Gintama but because it's not as famous as Big 3 and DB, it doesn't get the negative energy.

Frankly I am surprised that he was surprised Johan, Spike, and Edward ended up high on the list in a list that started with Vash, Dio, Lulu, and Light, its like heading up the 2000s edgyfan's list of badasses lol (except Vash and Ed, they are cool). Also Popular doesn't necessarily mean iconic, Monster isn't as popular as some animes in there but it's writing and antagonist are really iconic and influenced a lot of works, just like Berserk

Some of the greatest character for me: Onizuka (GTO) : This guy shaped me up during my teen juvenile year to what I am today, so he is definitely up on top 3 for me Lelouch (Code Geass) : despite the messy pacing, he is very memorable because of his triple persona, the plot twist that affects him, his awesome dynamic with Suzaku and the best ending in anime. The first anime to make my cry and got me into mecha. Another top 3 for me. Rudeus (Mushoku Tensei) : The character that kind of making me think deep on some things like life redemptions and relationship (eg. Questionable casts, family themes, Grey areas). Also the series that drag me back into book reading world (LN especially) and started reading again after a long time (last I read was Harry Potter novel). At the very least, I will never forget these trio, maybe for the rest of my life.

I'll just say Vegeta inspired alot of the rival characters that we see in shonen shows. They aren't direct copies of vegeta but their are aspects of him in some of the rival characters.

I really blame most of the western localization for giving the accidental legacy of Goku getting a heroic image. He’s NOT supposed to be heroic, even tho he’s the story’s hero. I hate that the dub really flanderized Toriyama’s image of him.

The only character in this list that suprised me was Johan 🎉🎉🎉 bruh THAT DUDE is scary as shit and super disturbing and I love him for that, about the rest, I wish Guts is way higher, I'm not really a fan of anime characters with muscles etc buts Guts, damn! He's more than that. About the Captain being in No. 1 .. he's iconic that's true, BUT ...
