Apparently a lot of things that get donated get thrown away, so maybe the things you want to donate you can put on a swap app or buy nothing group? So the person doesn’t pay for it but you know it’s going to someone that wants it ?

The 5 categories you said at the start Iv always gone by. Whenever I go clothes shopping with parents - we’ll especially my dad he is ALWAYS trying to get me to buy things “because they are in fashion”. Well I don’t do fast fashion. Bless I love an items look, it’s comfortable & it fits well then I won’t buy it. Also just because something is in my favourite colour (pink) doesn’t mean I’ll like it even if it is comfortable because I judge what each item looks like and some things just don’t look right in certain shades of certain colours. I’m sooo picking with clothing that often my parents get frustrated I’m saying no to most or all they pick up/out. So Iv resorted to mostly clothes shopping on my own (most of the time) so I can find exactly what I like.

Love the video :) I do however think it's a little weird how you put an ad, for very trend-sensitive phone accessories, in a video in which you specifically reject the idea of impulse-buying items, just because they are trendy. You are decluttering all those micro trends from your closet, yet you advertise phone cases with trendy patterns and phone charms (which I think are definitely a micro trend). I understand that you need to make money from ads, as wel as that making a change in the way you purchase takes time, but the ad in this specific video just seems a little thoughtless.

Thanks for the feedback! Personally, I didn’t think of the phone cases as trendy, I’ve been using the same ones for the past year and can imagine myself using these in the past, and also for years to come! The fact you can personalize them feels like it eliminates the trendyness factor! Phone cases feel like something we will always need, and because of the environmental practices of the brand too I feel like I was rightful to include it, but thank you! I do agree with you about the charms and how for some those could be a trend, I included them as they were gifted to me and thought they may be a fun gift for the holidays that are coming up for people to see, but totally see your point about them. Thank u!
