I’ve got a squad of 4 of the Deluxe version so I passed on the retro. One of the all time classic troop builders.

I ordered three, now I'll have three of each retro and deluxe. I like the artic troops maybe cause I live in Texas. Can't wait for Iceberg, Blizzard, Sub-Zero, Windchill and Frostbite with the Snow-Cat. A Cobra Wolf w/ Ice-Viper would be nice too.

I bought 1 deluxe for my officer and ordered a few retro for my troopers. I like the retro colors better.

Great review. Picking up 2 of these as I like the blue color better and didn’t want to army build the deluxe one. The deluxe will be the officer for me.

Same for me my order for Snow Serpent was glitched. I had to talk to an Amazon service person to get it back on track. My previous instructions were to update but there was no way to do so.

I have the DLX to use as an officer, and ordered two of the retros to go with him. I only have one arctic BAT unfortunately.

Mine are coming in the mail tomorrow I’ll have to go through my extra weapons but I think I have an extra AK I can stick with one of them …..I have one of the deluxe guys and 2 retros so that’s my little arctic unit until I get a couple arctic bats to go with them…..all the retro figures should come with the classic cartoon cobra blaster or joe laser riffle and it’s kind of a bummer there not doing that

I don't get why are they using a softer plastic for weapons and harder for hands. Can someone explain?

If they did a artic themed wave they would be plenty of joes to make then cobra but would be cool to see fss ice viper officer, ice viper, Snow night creeper, snow wolf and even bayonet from the plague would be a special figure being more black ops looking make it to classified

I wouldn’t mind getting like arctic themed versions of duke, snake eyes etc. same with like desert versions of all the characters

Environmental roll outs sounds like a great idea. I do want more Arctic troops. Frostbite, Stalker v2, Snow gear Snake Eyes, Arctic Scarlett, Cobra’s Snow Viper v2(?) there was a second one right? The Arctic BAT is cool. Snow Serpent commander would be fun. I’m not sure how they want to stretch this environmental troopers with variants.

Getting the retro. Original weapons would’ve been cool. The stress on the hands sucks. Overall it’s a score 1 for nostalgia.

I really hope the next Retro Card army builder is the Cobra Viper. My all time favorite Cobra unit, and too damn expensive no matter how you try and get it. Either huge markup or an overpriced 3 pack.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates Amazon Storm Shadow. That thing nearly put me off the line entirely. Anyway, this Snow Serpent seems a bit cheap, honestly. I'd have rather seen the deluxe get a wide re-release than this.

I was able to get two of the deluxe snow serpents and I preordered two retro Snow serpents.... scheduled to ship in July 2024. I was expecting the retro to have the grenade launcher and the tennis snow shoes ...oh well

@beesbattlegrounds it was stated the Emily was in charge of the "Retro line" and that they are two different universe's that work well together. What you see on pulse is called marketing, since we can agree they are all GI Joe.
