Gimme Shelter in Martin Scorsese's films

The Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter appearing in GoodFellas (1990), Casino (1995) and The Departed (2006), all directed by Martin Scorsese. Interestingly, it doesn't appear in his Rolling Stones documentary/concert, Shine a Light (2008).

Heather Banks I didnt say these movies were bad, but it really doesnt get any better then Goodfellas... And the Wolf is basically Goodfellas 3 (Casino is GF 2), with more F-words and 4th wall breaking etc... Goodfellas is just a perfect movie, thats all... And I dont even like gangster movies!!! :D

+Antenman nah man most people think taxi driver and raging bull are just as good if not better. Raging Bull is the main reason most critics and people in films growing up in the 80's got involved in cinema. Goodfellas is his most popular and one of his best but I think Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Mean Streets match Goodfellas. I love the departed although I admit it probably is just below the those 4 along with Casino. Shutter Island and Wolf are both flawed but still very good. An average scorsese film is better than 80% of films that come out every year.
