They HAVE to migrate to the US becaus SPAIN won't welcome them unlike and in contrast to the opportunity for ALL BLACK PEOPLE WORLDWIDE to migrate to AFRICAN COUNTRIES with AFRICAN PASSPORTS given by the Country of their choice >The Right of Abode < acknowledged by 30 of the 54 countries. val young she greatly oversimplified the “stat” she mentioned. 1. She referenced a few black women.... WHO WERE SEASONED FOR YEARS. Also, FAR MORE LATINAS are given acting jobs far more quickly. Also, she claims she was speaking about outside of the industry... also.. LIES! When you take into account the job fields.... actually Latina women are paid far more than black women. The reason the numbers are skewed to look like Latina women are paid less is because it does include those service jobs that many first generation come and work (maids, cleaners etc). They do saturate that market, and that market is paid significantly LESS than other industries. However if we go to equal pay for equal work.... NOPE. Also, if we talk about ACCESS to those jobs with more pay to get out of socioeconomic situation, black women again do not have as much privilege. Often Latinas speak several languages, by 2nd generation they are able to assimilate pretty easily... and move up that ladder. Because we have LESS black immigrants coming to the US (and those that are able to come over typically come with a bit more like a degree, skill, AND come in with some sort of financial stability (immigrating over water isn’t cheap,... look up the average immigrant’s demographics now.... it isn’t the 1800’s....)). So yes when you include first generation and possibly even second generation immigrants it is understandable that Latinas would earn less. She knows this.... Finally, she didn’t take the time to “point out the HUGE disparity between Asian women.... NOPE, she went for black women. Why? Because how dare BLACK WOMEN... of all the other groups to do better. I mean black women SHOULD be at the bottom.... I mean can you believe it? Black women could possibly be doing better than almost white passing Latinas? Yeah, don’t pretend you don’t know exactly what she was doing.... it wasn’t just being critical.

Before all these POC start coming for black entertainment and the lack of their own representation in the media..go after the people who wouldn’t even cast you in their shows aside from the stereotypical roles. The black entertainment world is still making their way up there. Especially when the same people are casted for consecutive years in a row before a new black star is found. That comment wasn’t anti black but just unnecessary. Be proud for all of the POC paving the way for all POC. With representation or not, it opens doors for all people down the line. Another thing, Marvel is making movies based on characters dating back to the 1940s. Nothing is new here and Black Panther been around, it’s just finally getting the recognition due to the “wokeness” of these times. (Great way for them to generate 💰 off the black community).

Nah... Nobody goes to a democrat meeting to ask them to remember to include republicans. She needed to understand tht bp was the moment to shine for a specific community that was not hers. Didnt see any Asians asking for more Asians in Black Panther.

Blacks come out of a "Latinas" mouth because we have black Latinos in our community... Wow when I think of a racist white person I think of them smiling when they see colored people go against each other... it's bad enough to have whites bringing us down and telling us to go back to our country and we can't even get support from our black brothers and sisters? Black panther was a win for colored people... should we stop there because we got our one black guy? No! We should have more black super heros, Latinos and definitely Asians... Asians are the least represented within the "POC" community:-/

I'm so sad that i live in time where everyone gets butt hurt over everything. African- Americans have been killing it the last two years in Hollywood. But I agree where's the the Latinos coming in? Why can't we all colored people come together. Period. Instead of being hurt over once single race.

All of this comments are the reason, why it's so easy for White Americans to turn each race against one other. Before y'all judge listen to what she is say. She just gave African American race a positive comment. She said, it was us the African-American community that made her feel accepted. Wake up everyone, we are all in the same boat. Because we all now if we are not white in America, we are been discriminated against. If you don't have nothing that is positive to say dont comment. Because I think Mr. Trump is spreading enough, hate and racism to last a lifetime.

She wanted to play the other side for conversation. Her intention was unclear and not received. She wants to play the Devil's advocate create a platform for Latins and ADOS is not gonna entertain her games. She says inclusion but her actions say different. It would be overlooked if she didn't have a pattern but she continues to create dialogue separating herself from the "Black Community" she identifies separately and she makes that clear. I say that it's okay. It's okay to advocate for who you identify with but you don't have to disrespect anybody in the process. She fails because she gets called out for having a preference. She needs to realize that she is losing support as she continues to spiral downward

Even saying that Latin people aren't represented in Marvel films when there are TWO afro Latinas in them!?!?! I'll tell you why, because she identifies as a WHITE latina and that's what she wants to see represented. Afro Latinas ARE black women! Like wtf

Latino is NOT a race. It describes someone’s culture or ethnicity. So you can’t make a blanket statement that Latinos as a people are racist, some are however. Latinos can be white, black, asian, or any combination there of. Issues that plague the black community with colorism also affects the Latino community as well. Black Latinos are treated like 2nd class citizens in many latin countries. This happens from Mexico to Brazil, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic as well. Afro Mexicans aren’t recognized by the government as a racial group in Mexico. In Ecuador, Afro- Ecuadorians are discriminated against as well. The story is the same, but the countries are different.
