if you’re pretty, put together, mentally and physically stable, intelligent, deep/spiritual, admired by men… most women will off the bat dislike you. a large amount will even actively bully you, ostracize you, lie on you, and try to sabotage you. this has been my life since i started puberty and it’s been painful at times but has truly strengthened my spiritual bones. i have what i have in my life because of my integrity, that is why God blesses me. so many people want what you have (even to the point that they hate you for having it). yet their character could never carry the blessings that you possess. they lack awareness and motivation to do better. so i feel very protected that those kind of people don’t like me. if i did, it would mean i was as messy as they.

Sometimes, this is the case. As someone who looks pretty good with makeup, I've lost count of how many "equally pretty" women were complete b!tches to less attractive women, rubbing their pretty privilege in other women's faces, trying to get me to lower my maturity enough to do the same. Whether people think I'm a 5, 7, or 8, I never think its ok to be the b!tch that a lot of pretty women enjoy being. When a lot of pretty women don't get jealousy out of me, they TARGET me. Sometimes people ARE jealous of pretty women, other times they just don't like insecure b!tches, who happen to be pretty.

I’m much older than you but I was ostracized my whole life especially growing up in school. I got a call from a girl I went to school with and as we were hanging up, I asked her why if you’re calling me now I don’t understand why did everybody treat me the way they did in school when we were younger and her response was because you were such a prude and so boring and wouldn’t drink with any of us. It was a horrible and hurtful way to treat somebody and it affected me and literally altered how I see people yet to her it was nothing. She described her treatment of me as if it was just nothing. I think people suck and it takes a long time to find even one good friend but you have God and you have all the Angels and truly I’ve learned those are the best friends and the truest friends who will never leave you or gossip about you or hurt you or stab you in the back. Pets are much more loyal and reciprocal. Be in the world but not of the world.

Agree with 100% of your sentiments. Thanks for pointing out female on female violence - it’s something that hardly gets spoken about. It’s interesting because many of the women today preach about feminism but yet they tear each other down. Also, it’s weird how the older female relatives (specifically referring to the black female community) compete with their younger female relatives…and many of these individuals will say that black people need to stick together, etc. Vulnerable narcissism is very common in this group.

i also want to say on the bullying note -- YUPPPP, and the thing is, they "win" the short game which is internet clout and popularity but we win the long game which is stability, respect and peace. they just don't see that tho. all the people who were the worst to me and made fun of me so bad for being "nerdy" are for sure having a hellish experience in life right now. turns out me, the "square" is sitting in my nice house with my man, drinking my water and enjoying my life.

Wow this is true and I can relate. To be honest I have women on daily basis giving me mean jealous looks and treat me weirdly and mean. Wow this is so real, I’m 28 and have no female friends anymore, when I was around them there was always this weird vibe I felt like they were always trying to make fun of me subtly, they made me doubt of my boyfriend and how he was “probably” cheating on me, they talked bad things about other girls, they talked about how much fun they had cheating on their boyfriends, sometimes I just wanted to run away from them. Girl I'm in the same boat. I'm so done with female friends. They are lying, backstabbing, troublemaking haters. I mainly tried to make friends with other black women and I just can't do it anymore. I'm glad you have your man. But one thing I learned when I was in my early 20s is that predators (rapists, kidnappers, killers) prey on loners. I got preyed on so much by keeping to myself, while having a group of female friends kept me safe. But if you don't trust the "friends" around you, it may be best to avoid them. I have colleagues that I do business with instead of friends. Whether im their client supporting their business or I'm trying to work with them. I've been betrayed and had my heart broken too many times to trust people in personal relationships. The good thing about doing business with other black people is that it gives you both a chance to vet each other while keeping a safe distance, and at the same time meeting your own needs and supporting black owned businesses and franchises. Having a business network could potentially serve as some sort of protection too. Anyway, I wish you the best. Stay safe.

I remember being afraid of going to school each day because I didn’t know if I would have friends or not due to them always talking bad and turning their backs on me. For no reason. I was an absolute people pleaser and always tried to keep the peace. I honestly don’t know what it’s like to have a healthy female relationship. My junior year of high school I switched to online school because I just couldn’t handle the stress anymore. Best decision I made. I am now 26 with no female friends still. And I’ve learned to be okay with it. I choose peace. Would be nice to have down to earth friends that don’t talk shit about you, aren’t competing, and just truly support each other. So relieved because I’m 26 and I only have one friend I trust and it’s sad because I’m a caring person from heart and ppl from my old jobs , schools treated me differently, always said something about me. When you mentioned someone complaining about Instagram after you were venting about your serious emotions, so many names came to mind because that literally happens to me so much 😭 I’m 18 and I feel the way that you do and thought that no one could relate to me! Most of my friends have ended up being terrible people or people who need to work on their issues before dealing with other people. 😭 Update: They blocked me not too long after watching this over something stupid. It hurt at first, but we got into fights all the time, and they were so immature and blamed things on me. Life is more lonely but also more peaceful without them now.

Girl I know EXACTLY how you feel! I’m 23 with no friends. Given I’m a stay at home mom to a one year old and don’t get out much but even before that I felt a rift between me and other females. I’ve also been bullied and excluded by women. A prime example being my sisters best friend who has something nasty to say to me every time I’m in her presence. She’s gone as far as telling me not to stand next to her when we’re taking group pictures because she claims “I’ll make her look bad and men will want me instead of her.” It seems she can never say hi to me like she does everyone else, I’m either completely ignored or greeted with a rude remark. She ALWAYS makes comments about what I’m wearing saying that it’s too revealing and I can only wear whatever I want because I’m skinny. She’s told me that I’m too thin and need to eat more but on a different occasion said she wished she had my body. ( Which obviously means she’s just jealous I look the way I do.) It’s honestly ridiculous the amount of hate attractive women receive for simply being the thing everyone thinks is so great. And don’t let us have mental health issues because that’s “impossible” when you’re beautiful, they think that quality alone is a shield from how hard life can get at times. It seems you can’t be ugly and you can’t be too pretty to fit in with society, you have to be average to get respect and the genuine kind of attention humans deserve. Everyone in the comments saying it’s your fault clearly haven’t experienced this type of mistreatment. You can be the kindest, sweetest, to yourself girl and they still treat you like sh** because you’re too much of a threat. I hope to meet girls I truly connect with in the future even if it’s just one or two real friendships.

I found out that it's not designed for you to have friends what you are to do is find you a man have you some children and create you a family that's the end goal right there and that's sold all of these people that you think are your friends are going to turn against you and come and go your family structure is solid.

I also have no friends, every time I actually think I’ve maybe made one, the other shoe drops. It’s so sad because I think women are so beautiful and powerful and I wished for so long to have a group of friends like in the movies and whatnot. I totally relate to you, have this same problem they always have some sort of secret competition going on. And because I see through all the b/s because I’m very intuitive ppl try to say I’m the problem. I don’t go clubbing especially my age group when your life’s a mess and you want to be a groupie you tend to make loads of friends it’s like females love it when your down and bitchy. I’m in my 40s and I have no female friends. I know some females on a surface level but they aren’t friends. I used to be hard on myself when I see other women with friends and they’re hanging out and travelling together. If you have a strong support system whether it’s your family or at work, you’ll be fine. What matters is the quality and not quantity of friends. You seem to know what you want and that is amazing. Oh god preach girl! I thought I was weird for finding a lot of girls are messed up. My parents told me at a young age education, family and respect are important.
