I avoid face/neck/chest/belly tattoos, other than that it's going to depend on what the tattoos are. I don't care about piercings, although some tend to telegraph certain personality types good and bad depending on your perspective. Nose rings are whatever, but they are called cow/bull rings for a reason.

Important to note: Almost everything Gio mentioned is only truly confirmable IN PERSON. If you met online, you can't be certain she's truthful about kids, partying, money, etc. That's why, as Gio says, it makes no sense to meet anyone online unless your ticket is already booked.

Then she hooks up with someone who struggled to get down to only 10 Balikbayan boxes! It’s a no brainer she’s going to try and get her hands on some goodies. Your job when you start chatting or go and visit, is to see through the fakes, and find the true jems … Because the jems are there!

Not to veer off the topic but I just heard that the Philippines will now recognize and honor a divorce for the Filipina if the expat goes abroad or back to their country and seek a divorce. Now the Filipena doesn't have to be declared still married in the Philippines if their spouse seeks a divorce abroad. It's a step in the right direction for change in the divorce laws in the Philippines.
