We are living in the BEST era ever. Best transport/health/entertainment/safety/housing/every science you can think of. Best way of life. I remember my Dad worked 6 days a week doing labor work, he never had a sick day for many decades, these days we are slowly but surely getting to a standard 4 day week at the same pay level. Whilst cost of living has increased, so has convenience, shops and car fuelling stations don't close at dusk any longer, where drivers had to sleep in their car until the gas station opened in the morning! Do you know what the No.1 best thing is of our present era? Its knowledge. We now have more knowledge than any other previous time, we have like double knowledge than even a couple of decades ago! We now realize children should be heard and they should NOT fear the return of their loving Father. These outdated ideas of respect=fear have been thrown out long ago, actually children can now kick out abusive Fathers of their own home. We are not in doom and gloom era, this Christian outdated mentality of loving morbid death and irrational fears we now know is dead wrong.

It seems like we have access to more Scripture now than ever in history, because of internet access to versions, and phones where we can carry all these with us, and even the Greek, and Hebrew, and Aramaic, and the ability to use concordances, and look up the Greek and Hebrew meanings, to get behind even the English meanings. But, there are many who don't study, and don't seek, and believe only the English words they see, and do not look back to get a better understanding of the Words they read. If sometimes it takes six English words to explain one Greek word, would it not be good to look at the other five words as well? We all should follow the Holy Spirit's guidance in our lives, and let Him direct us in our learning, and make changes in our lives when He points out error in our thinking. I do not know these other languages, and so my learning is taking time, but I am learning.

Always look forward to a new Cliffe video, it forces me to question my own doubts about Christianity, Cliffe always asks us to read the Gospels and decide for ourselves, Cliffe mentions about God giving us a conscience, the problem I have with that is that when I read the Bible I see so many examples of questionable things a loving God would do. Even with the character of Jesus, there are so many things he *could* have stated that would leave no man in any doubt that certain actions were wrong. eg: what are Jesus's thoughts on rape? Can a man have sex with his wife when she says no? Marital rape was legal in the US and UK in my lifetime.

He left the ministry, yet when he returned later Paul never demanded a salvation. Instead, it was the wayward, the prodigal, returning to His God. According to your outdated belief, they are living in the finite. By believing in an eternal 2nd life then why would you be concerned about this one life we know of? We now know that testimonies and obviously early writings/letters (such as claimed Holy books like the Qur'an or Torah or Bible etc). Are unreliable. I can easily show this to you by the common example: Merely a woman claiming they were raped by a man is insufficient to determine if the man is guilty, as you must include actual reliable evidence such as confirming the man was even there at the time! Each and every point you made have been fully covered over and over and over again, in every single time someone mentions 1 or any of your assertions, that single instance is shown as zero evidence for a Jesus to exist. IF however you are suggesting historical evidence such as the Bible/Qur'an or even Egyptian hieroglyphics or any other claimed supernatural influence, were true merely through historical literature; then clearly fairies must be real as I'd say there has been way more books including fairy stories than all of the claimed Gods combined! On top of this every single one of your reported historical dates come at minimum 30yrs later! And generally accepted as 80yrs later! Even you yourself write: 30--80 CE (although you use the outdated term of AD, we threw that out too). None of that makes any sense, even the Qur'an claims a 2nd life, so does Buddhism, they all generally have some claim. But none, including the Bible, supply sufficient evidence for the claim. Don't forget: Believe in things unseen. As we want to drum in how gullible Christians can be. Lets pretend a God is true, I highly suspect he allowed such books as the Bible and Qur'an (and so many others) as a test to see which ones are gullible enough to believe in it. A farmer will slaughter his sheep for his last supper of the day. Clearly he'd spare the ones that showed high knowledge and reasoning skills. How would this be any different? If your claimed God created a brain to reason with, why on Earth would you not use it? This is a blatant insult to your claimed God, he or any reasoning agency would not be amused.

Here is an important answer that Cliffe is missing. The word for "eternal" hell is aion and can just mean age. In Matthew 24 the disciples ask Jesus what will be the signs of the end of this world. World is aion here. So you gotta keep in mind that certain people had motives geared towards keeping people afraid of burning forever and making you pay $ for your own salvation. Luke 16 mentions a gulf. There is a good side and a bad side. Think to yourself. How could we enjoy heaven if all of the goody goodies are on one side and right next store there's a boiling pit of lava where people are not just burning for billions of years, but trillions upon trillions of years. How could a loving God allow that? And how could we enjoy heaven if one of our loved ones didn't make it? No, after the 1000 years they are blotted out. It's as if they never existed.
