Through your teaching and understanding of The Bible, you've erased and eradicated any doubts that I previously had about the contents of the book. Before I had approached it with hostility and animosity; extremely sceptic. Now I'm rest assured that its contents are without error but of course contain divergences in eye witness testimony but that itself I find gives the book more credibility and validity.

Answering the lady from minute 16:20, I would say that those passages are not passages of superiority or dignity, is about family stability, we have a duty in flesh i.e. someone getting pregnant and the other one providing, either one, there is no sexism just because one gets pregnant the the other isn't. In Spirit we are all the same, in flesh we have different duties for the sake of life (but that doesn't mean one is less/more than the other). Been submissive doesn't mean been slave, is just been obedient as man just be submissive to God as well. The problem resides when a wife is obedient to her husband and the husband not obedient to God as well.
@fernandop17 жыл бұрын
-It doesn't apply to everyone by the fact that technology demands more and things are too expensive for the husband to sustain himself the household, that would be too risky because no job is granted too. But the point we are missing here is the common ground that I already explain above.
@fernandop17 жыл бұрын
-Notice the sequence in (Colossians 3:18-20): Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord. The reason is (1 Timothy 2:11-14): And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. *This is about authority, not about capability.*
@fernandop17 жыл бұрын
-Women can take the greatest tasks has nothing to do with authority, it has to do with capabilities. Again, this is not an issue of skills, is an issue of authority. Paul is not using the law as a reference but Genesis and the creation sequence as (1 Timothy 2:11-14) point out. Your example is more towards the secular world in which people have no knowledge of the Word of God and what we have been called.
@gingercake09074 ай бұрын
@@fernandop1 Adam was not deceived by Satan but Eve was so Adam purposely ate the fruit, Adam knew it wasn’t right but went along with it anyway. That’s why his duties in loving wife and family have to be sacrificial and his motives must also come from that sacrificial love, because he deliberately disobeyed God. “ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,” Ephesians 5:25a When a person is given great responsibility, then they are held to a higher accountability, Adam is not superior to Eve but is held more accountable because he was first and he got the law first. Adam had a longer time with God to get the understanding of God’s commandment. The gender of man is not superior to the gender of woman because both are made in God’s image.
@gingercake09074 ай бұрын
@@fernandop1 And because man has the authority then he has to make great sacrifices just like Jesus Christ did. So men must love their wives and children with the same willingness to sacrifice all he has for them. Why? Because God said for him to be in authority and when one is in authority they are held more accountable to God. Now why is that? Because Adam was NOT deceived by Satan and sinned anyway, backstabbed God anyway. My husband prays almost without ceasing because with authority comes higher accountability. We need to be working on ourselves and our children to develop the virtues that God says we should have: honesty, dependability, trustworthiness and fairness.

The scriptures say to give thanks to God in all things. He is right on that. If he is a Christian then he is part of the body of Christ. The spirit of Christ lives in him. God never leaves, nor forsakes. Even He gives angels charge over you. Check out the scriptures. They are full of life for the believer. God wants all to be believers in His Son Jesus and become a son themself. O it's awesome to be a son, even though I'm female. I have no problem with the title of son as it relates to my standing with my heavenly Father. be loved

Luke 1:26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!” Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!” Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month. For the word of God will never fail.” Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.

It is in Christ that we move and have our being. This revelation shows our very life, and therefore every achievement is because of God. But free will is where , as Cliffe regularly points out , “God limits his power” to allow us choice. That’s where “God’s hand ends and ours begins,” the will.

Here is an interesting question: What is stronger, my doubt in Jesus, or Jesus's desire for me to know him?
@jacobleaver24508 жыл бұрын
I would say the fact that i see you watching alot of these videos. Says alot about jesus desire to know you. Just my opinion.

Jacob Leaver well, I am subscribed to Cliffe's channel, so whenever he posts a video I watch it. I enjoy the conversations he has with the students, but I'd say the students make some valid points. If Jesus has a strong desire to know me he doesn't seem to be revealing himself, so maybe my doubt in Jesus is stronger.
@Brucev78 жыл бұрын
Tom, I think you know you have decided to block a relationship with the Savior and Lord.
@bonnie43uk8 жыл бұрын
Brucev7 Hi Bruce, always good to hear from you. In regards to your comment I have to say absolutely not my friend, it may well seem that is the case from your perspective, I do not doubt your honest opinion that you think I have decided to block any relationship with God. But I can assure you 100% that is not the case. I lack belief in God due to what I see as his constant hidden-ness. I'm sure that God/Jesus could reveal himself to me in an instance if he wanted to. Are you saying my doubt is far stronger than God/Jesus's desire to know me? Now I'm sure you will tell me that it's up to me to seek God/Jesus. I can only tell you in all earnestness I have tried to do this for most of my life, it was only when I came to the conclusion that he probably didn't exist that everything began to make a lot more sense from my perspective. But I'm certainly not rejecting God out of any kind of rebelliousness. If Christianity works for you, that's fine with me.

Unsaved people who don’t believe in God always seem to know how He works or what He should be doing. The reality is they won’t acknowledge God and resent His authority. How idolatrous. But God will still offer them Jesus Christ. “ But God demonstrates His own love towards us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. “ Romans 5:8.

God sent his son into the world to communicate his love when we were sinners. The world was made through Jesus Christ. Sin has deformed us but Jesus came to transform the body, soul, and the spirit. Saten is twisting all the truth. see www.gotquestions.org
