He was definatly the winner for me. Such a good prestation and song. You always get disapointed by eurovision. It's never the winner who really wins. Good for the French songs getting on the top we missed that. It shows that not everybody has to sing in English. He got asked in Albania, why didn’t he represent Albania and he said he is very happy to represent Switzerland. There can be love for an immigrant child for his country and his parents country? @Mariette Τ. I understand Dua Lipa with the great Albania flag. As an Albanian I think she shouldn’t have posted that. In the Balkan our borders are defined. Kosovo is already independent. I think most developed countries recognize its independence. But the eagle is part of the republic of Albania’s flag. We do the hand symbol to symbolize love for Albanians and Albania, not as a symbol for irredentism. He was just expressing love back for the 12 points.

I'm from Serbia and I knew his parents were Albanian so I didn't have a problem with it. He was happy Albania gave him points. Sure it was maybe a bit weird but it was definitely not meant to be rude.

You have many interviews I saw he did in Albanian to translate. Good luck XD. Also the interviewer asking why did he do the double eagle is really disrespectful, when he just said he was so proud to represent Switzerland. Shame on them. Ofc he is gonna be proud to be Albanian. Not being proud, would mean to not acknowledge his roots and family. Jeangu clearly expressed he is a proud Surinamese, Tusse a proud Congolese, Manizha with Tajikistan, etc., but he is not allowed because of stupid political reasons and because Serbians are offended? C'mon now, be real. Switzerland got the best position they will ever have with him and they don't even congratulate him enough. Stupid journalists.

Why do they have to insert themselves in everything Albanians do? Those people are obsessed with us. Have you even seen our flag? Listen Little Shits, I'm not even a fan of this kid or Switzerland. Have listened all songs one by one and have a 35 year old music ear. A very experienced and quality one. The song of Switzerland was the best of 2021. Not subjectively best. Objectively best. In a moment his voice was like a music instrument at his live performance. Unimitable song with a unique voice. Did Italians deserve the win? No. They just made a visual show by using cliche rhythm. Their performance and acoustic language was splendid. We can't deny it. But if we're talking about music, tout l'univers was better by far.

I'm a big fan of Gjon but Italy deserved to win. I mean, Switzerland had a great song, great visuals, obviously great vocal. But I'm a huuuge fan of alt rock and I am so happy that a rock band singing in Italian won Eurovision. I hope Maneskin's victory and Go_A's televoting results will push the contest into a more experimental direction
