So that’s really gonna depend on your fitness. Normally with explosive movements like this it’s most effective if you are able still able to really explode into the jumps. When you start feeling your form and height start to go that’s a good time to rest. And overtime as you get more fit and stronger you can start doing more and more reps.

Hey man, how you doing? I've watched a few videos of yours down the years, and I'm actually after a bit of advice. I'm a Goalkeeper, I'm also only 5ft 7in, but I always seem to struggle if someone hits a high shot from the edge of the area, particularly straight above me. I tend to stand around 3 yards off my line as advised by a coach, which is fine fine shots to the sides, but I always struggle with shots straight over me. Nothing annoys me more than a ball going straight in the top of the net, pretty central. I'm not really sure how I should be reacting to such shots, as a straight up jump tends to end up with the ball just going straight over my hand when I jump. I'm wondering if there is something else I should be doing or trying?

@@GKGOLUREMI it’s kinda sad that you aren’t signed to a good team in a good league you seem pretty solid, I don’t get it anyway cause some shit keepers play on top leagues when some better keepers play on lower leagues it just feels like a rabbit out of a hat for me
@GKGOLUREMI3 жыл бұрын
Even if you have the ability to play pro luck plays a massive role when pursuing a career. Where a lot of it is just being in the right place at the right time. Which is how I ended up signing pro in Finland right out of college. And then I’ve been a bit unlucky the past few seasons with getting opportunities. But it can always change in an instant so you just need to make sure your prepared when a good opportunity comes your way.
