How you do one thing is how you do everything. What you practice, you become. So you've taken the most derisive/divisive thought system on the planet and flattened it out, ironed it out, removed all the sharp edges and corners, and rendered it wholly benign. I'd say it's time to pack it all up and move to Vatican City and sell it from a kiosk in St Peter's Square. Do you think anyone will be able to tell what you are selling? Who would buy it? How about we go back to square one and answer the most basic questions like - is there any benefit to being a Christian vs a non-Christian? If there is a benefit, is it only realized on this plane? Or on others? How would you know? What is salvation? Is there a downside, as in, missing out on salvation? What is that downside? If the downside is not of infinite proportions, then what does it matter? And just for my personal entertainment - what is your god? It has to be objective to describe it in any way which means it has to exist phenomenally which means everyone must be privy to it, observe it to be the same thing, describe it and understand it in the same way, and be able to point it out in some fashion - BUT - if it is non-specific, non-local, immaterial, and unbounded, then how can you say it exists at all beyond idle rumination? It would necessarily lie outside our ability to perceive and understand. (AND DON'T RETREAT TO YOUR QUIVER OF " A priori" ARGUMENTS FROM CAUSE, DESIGN, BEING, MORLALITY, ETC. A PHILOSOPHICAL ARGUMENT DOES NOT A GOD PRODUCE) Now, before you leap into your answer, consider for the moment that I might be 150 times smarter than you and really take your time before you utter your first syllable. I appreciate that you can easily deflect and parse your way out of this before your witless following - but only focus on me, and not on your peanut gallery. Try to impress me.

Rohr’s doublespeak and web of tangled thought is very hard to follow unless you have taken the lure. Then he drags you wherever he, with his great knowing mystic mind wants to take you. You are the fish, he is the fisher. In order to do this the first thing he has to do is disavow identity, or the first premise of logic and reasoning A is A. He calls it dualistic thinking but it is really monistic for it must start with a thing is what it is. This of course leads to A not being Not A. That is not dualism. Rohr’s is dualistic thinking because the first thing it does is sets off the spiritual from the material, or the mind/body problem. In this dualism Rohr goes with the Beginning-less Mind and in doing so will eventual deny substitutionary atonement and that Jesus and the Christ are not the same thing, Jesus being the historical man and Christ the incarnation of God in all matter. How does he know all these things? It’s mystical and you can’t understand it unless you enter the mystical mind. Let go! Caught!

It's very obvious that you really, really, really think you're bright - although you've also got the false humility down to a science and can easily shield against any such accusation. Truth is relative. It is human invention. It is totally subjective. Truth is where we find it. It is what works for us, inspires, uplifts and motivates us at our present level of consciousness - and as we ascend over hundreds of incarnations to higher levels of consciousness, our truth changes. It evolves. Until we reach a level where we understand that there is no such thing as truth. There are levels of reality that correspond with levels of consciousness. The higher the level of reality we can realize the broader and more inclusive it is until we achieve unity consciousness in which everything is the same thing in differing modes of expression. This is the highest realization on the phenomenal plane. It is hinted at by the loftier sciences such as astrophysics that has reduced all things material to waves and particles - therein and thereby differentiating all things phenomenal only through differing patterns of the same constituency.There is nothing absolute about it. Absolutism is theoretical. It implies infinities. Our minds cannot perceive nor understand infinities as they are necessarily unbounded - and as we are localized points of consciousness, we have individuated points of viewing, and thus, we are unable to grasp infinities as they are unbounded. Every time you use the term absolute, you misspeak. If there is an absolute field or dimension, we cannot know it. Applying an attribute such as truth to it is not only mistaken, but it is nonsensical. Attributes imply boundedness and cannot apply to something necessarily infinite/unbounded. The reason you enjoy the niche you have created for yourself so much is because it has rendered you unique to the minds of those who submit hook, line, and sinker to your untethered nonsense. No one who follows you can be bright at all. You are not bright. You not only do not realize that the centerpiece of your life is an invention, but when it is shown to you and explained to you, you cannot get it. You are truly lost. You are a gibberish generator. And it's very obvious that you buy everything that spills from your brain cell.

I like the idea that Jesus is a great teacher and a higher consciousness who is worthy of worship. All the hocus pocus, miracles and "penal substitution" of the crucifixion and resurrection -- seems too way out. But, then again, is it any more way out that imagining an infinitely higher consciousness than either me or Jesus?
