Dear Gabie i have been binging your channel. Ive posted before about my thinning hair and I have a fre question’s. So, my hair started totally thinning like you read about after a major emergency surgery I had and it’s not bouncing back. So, i watched your hair m.d. video and i also watched your keratin products you used on Jen. Which one should I buy? Can’t wait to hear your advice. Thanks so much for sharing your story it’s really giving me hope .

Hi Gabi. I’m one of your thin haired gals. Please tell me the best product to put in my hair to keep the curls after using my curling iron as my hair loses its curl in a hot minute. Or anyone else that has this same problem and has found a solution.

Thank you for putting together a very clear and concise tutorial. Most tutorials are rushed without details. Like "rocking" the thumb part to move the curling iron smoothly down the hair. Seems simple enough we should all know that, but last time i curled my hair was in the 80's with the curl from the ends method. :blush:

Well! This explains a lot, actually. Why my left side (I'm right-handed too) is so easy but my right side makes me feel pretzelized with my hands and the iron. This technique and result is SO much prettier than the bent-paper-clip over-under 'waves' everyone seems to favor right now. Thank you for showing us how to do this!

Lisa, I totally understand. Even I GET FRUSTRATED and give up when a demonstration is too fast. I really wanted to go slowly with this one so that every single person would understand it. Sometimes people overcomplicate simple things. A clamp iron seems confusing but you just have to know how to position the hair and the iron and as soon as you master that, you're good to go.

Hi Gabi! I am curious if blondes should use purple shampoo if a clarifying shampoo is used every couple of weeks. Do both types of products eliminate brassy tones equally?
@GlamGirlGabi
@GlamGirlGabi 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Rene! No they do not work in the same way. A clarifying shampoo will strip the hair of product build up whereas a purple shampoo will tone the color and make your blonde ashier and less yellow. Purple is the opposite color of yellow so it neutralizes yellow and turns it white'ish. Although hair can turn yellow due to product buildup, it will not magically turn ashy again when the product buildup is removed. Therefore, you definitely need the color pigment to correct that. Also - be careful with how much you use both of these because they're both known to be drying especially on hair that is heavily color treated. Use them sparingly (once or twice a week max).

Thank you Gabi, this was a great step by step tutorial. I have tried this about 100x and failed each time, but I will have this right next to me when I try again. I would like to ask you if you have heard of the beachwaver tool. I have seen so many ads recently - it is similar to the curling iron you are using, however has a small clamp at the bottom of the barrel and with a switch automatically turns the iron( either left or right). It is said that the curl is a lot tighter giving a more beach wave effect. Always love to hear your opinion on hot tools. 😊💕

I fail with flat irons. I fall with straighteners. The only hair tool I seemed to have mastered is a barrel iron, because all you have to do is wrap your hair around it. As long as you don’t burn yourself, you’re good. You should do a video showing side by side how each heat tools works and how they make the curl look different.
@GlamGirlGabi

I would suggest that you do the most difficult side first, once you’ve mastered the technique. As we tire, we get sloppy and lazy, and put in less effort. If you’re sloppy with the second side, it probably won’t be as obvious as doing it in reverse.
