Glenn Campbell was a guitar virtuoso and member of the Wrecking Crew. A legend that had the chops to bring it once more at the T in 2008. I well up in sadness at his loss but this dude was the absolute real deal. God Bless Glenn and God Speed.

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist Directs you where to go So make the beat of this test And don't ask why It's not a question but a lesson learned in time It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life So take the photographs and still frames in your mind Hang it on a shelf of good health and good time Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial For what it's worth it was worth all the while It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life

I am a Green Day snob, and specifically a snob about This song, and This is the second best version of this song live I’ve ever seen. Yes, brilliant. The first best is kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXvLo3iFm8ukiJI . Billy Joe actually plays almost all of the notes on the original recording WITH the correct string ensemble!
