Gates and Russell were playing in Oklahoma back in the late 50’s, and from what I heard, they came to California in 61’ where Campbell was already playing as a studio musician and got Gates and Leon to come to work as musicians in the studio. Ahaa ! Tinha sim ! 😁😫😩😫😞☹️

Not only is David Gates’ voice phenomenal but his rhythm guitar playing is fantastic? Couple that with Glenn Campbell’s singing and guitar skills is a recipe for WOW!!!

Did you notice that someone in post-production removed Glenn's voice where David was hitting very high parts? It's there...

"Make it with you" emociona, é uma das canções mais bonitas que ja ouvi.

When music was still an unknown journey. Just beautiful.

I shed a tear with this medley. Wonder why? Maybe we are the poorer without this genre today. But richer for still being able to applaud these virtuoso stars. Glen Campbell was one hell of a muso - even developed a higher respect when I saw a video of him shredding his guitar. David Gates? Ah well what a brilliant voice, guitar player, extraordinary songwriter and the signature voice of that legendary group BREAD! JUST AWESOME
