Alzheimer's may have ended Mr. Campbell's life, however it will never silence the command of his voice. This recording is proof of that. Rest in Peace, Mr. Campbell.

Im English, and many British people said why do you like country music so much, Country is about life, like Shakespeare.....Glen My All time Hereo, I wanted to be a singer from 12 years old when I heard Glen and country, although Glen never classified himself as country, I learned guitar, I went to Nashville at 28 to follow a dream, stayed for 5 years and left because of personal family issues. I sang, Wrote songs with many successful artists, and have always loved Glen as a master entertainer, musician, singer, I sing many of his songs today. RIP, my hero. you live on.... you are a Highwayman! Listen to his verson of The last time I saw her face, Pave your way into tomorrow, Late Night Confessions, Bloodline....and more lesser known songs he sang so beautifully.....His Capital years were wonderful.

Hi mrs. Campbell my name is Richard Kuhn my beautiful wife Peggy and my son Brandon. Was invited by your family to come in from a cold night here in Colorado. On his last tour. I do believe it was 2007. My mind's getting rusty to. But I wrote a letter to him that night and the door Usher. Said he would give it to someone. It must have been one of your family members or maybe you. But it was red and you give us balcony seats. One of the greatest nights I've ever had. I still remember that night like it was yesterday. So God bless you and your family. Stay well. And know that in my heart I am thankful for those balcony seats. I've been wanting to say that for a long time. Because he read my letter on one of his shows when I was a younger man.

My dad was diagnosed with dementia on the same day that Glen passed away in 2017. It was incredibly emotional for him hearing the news of Glen's passing on from Alzheimer's on the way home from his diagnosis. My dad loved this song so much and so do I. He passed away in 2022 and I miss him everyday and listen to this song when I want to think of good memories of my dad. I hope that fact would have made Glen so happy and if his family ever sees this comment I hope it makes them smile too. .

It's like the best cooking-an element of love added makes the difference.I always feel that Glen had a dedication to his art which is felt by the listener as respectfullness( if there is such a word) Respect for the listener,Always a consideration of musical aesthetics, and a realisation that if you sing and play in a forest and no one hears, the sound doesn't exist! To me this is because the ear of the observer is needed to complete the cycle. Many accomplished musicians try and hang a sound sculpture in the air and let people make of it what they will, but it seems Glen always played TO people , not AT them. I know only Glen the musician, I don't pretend to know the person, but I feel the intensity of the emotion and soul invested in his beautiful music.
